As long as Ola Aina returns before Afcon Kickoff in same december, I am fine.

But the reality is this: Unlike the left side where we have quality in Bruno or Felix Agu or even Zaidu, the right only has Aina. Osayi is unreliable. Sodiq "Arnold" is not it abeg.

This is why I shared news of that Samuel Isife kid now at Slavia Prague. We need quality options on the right, upgrades on Osayi and Sodiq "Arnold" Ismail.

The Afcon is now 100 days away.

Emmanuel Uchenna at Sparta Prague. Remember the name. Solid CB.

TheSuperNerd:
If we miss USCAMEX World Cup 2026, well it would be the first time our Super Eagles will be missing back to back World Cup tournaments. A real low.

But I take consolation in the fact that the young guns rising fast in the team and outside the team will be more mature and ready for the 2030 WC Qualifiers assault.

Osimhen (age 29-30 by 2028) would be undisputed leader of the team by then and possibly Captain. Lookman will still be there. Same as Felix Agu and Chukwueze.

Calvin Bassey will be undisputed leader of the Defence with Ekong gone.

The young guns (U-24) are:

💯 Raphael Onyedika (MF) - Belgium
💯 Fisayo Dele Bashiru (MF) - Serie A
💯 Tolu Arokodare (CF) - EPL
💯 Victor Boniface (ST) - Bundesliga
💯 Christantus Uche (MF) - EPL
💯 Benjamin Frederick (CB) - Belgium
💯 Vince Osuji (CB) - Belgium - Belgium
💯 Akinsanmiro Ebenezer (MF) - Serie A
💯 Hafiz Umar Ibrahim (ST/CF) - Ligue 2
💯 Arierhi Kparobo (ST) - Norway
💯 Rafiu Durosinmi (ST/CF) - Czech Liga
💯 Hamzat Ojediran (MF) - Ligue 1
💯 Daniel Daga (MF) - Norway
💯 Emmanuel Uchenna (CB) - Czech Liga
💯 Igoh Ogbu (CB) - Czech Liga
💯 Anthony Dennis (MF) - Turkey Super Lig
💯 Victor Orakpo (ST) - Ligue 2 (loan from Ligue 1 side, Nice)
💯Gift Orban (ST) - Serie A
💯David Moses (MF) - Czech Liga (Slavia Prague like Ogbu)
💯 ETC, ETC...

I am looking forward already but with one toe still stuck in this WCQs campaign just to see how it all finally ends. Peseiro and the lads did us bad in the beginning. But I am focused on better days to come.

Olanrewaju Kayode scores. In Turkish 1.Lig

For now 2nd placed Esenler Erokspor.

Now leads 2-0 vs Hatayspor featuring Funsho Bamgboye (2015 U17) and Jonathan Okoronkwo (formerly of Krasnodar).

Osayi is a bum at times, no offence...we need better cover at RB.... shame Ebuehi couldn't live up to expectations due to injuries

It is the most frustrating position now in the Super Eagles. Without Aina, our RB role is as good as dead.

Good thing I cant say this anymore about our CF role. Osimhen has good cover now.

This combo strikes fear into any EPL or European defence.

Isak x Salah in same team. With time, it will be fireworks.

Yamal first 100 games for Barca.... 55 G/A also.

Ola Aina's injury is really frustrating.

These South Africans and their inferiority-inspired wickedness to take us to that potato farm of a pitch. Ahhhh... NFF, na una I blame pass. Bunch of useless suit-wearing, agbada-adorning officials. Tueh!

that tackle deserves a red card , both legs went for it ... They quickly figure it out that Aina was going to be a pin in their ass , went for him and he was taken out at the early stage of the game .... i listened to one of the interviews ... it was clearly stated that the pitch was picked as a retaliation of the long distance travel , when the SA team Came to Nigeria . since NFF could not contest it . even the captain and The Coach should have aired their opinion immediately . iit has happened , lets move on .. Quick recovery Mr Lulu
It will get to a time when African football will no longer be interesting to watch if some teams or nations continue to get petty all in the name of revenge for what is either their fault or what is out of control for anyone hosting the game. There is no point in competing if all you know is to cheat to get an advantage. Later, we will say the game in Africa is not developing. How do you develop with all these football apprentices who don't want to genuinely improve or win fairly?

Honestly, I am beginning to lose interest in the upcoming Afcon cos I can imagine all that Morocco will do to win at all costs. The Moroccans I saw who were walking away immediately, Lookman was announced as APOTY will not let go easily if the odds are against them in Afcon; it's scary despite how good they are on the pitch!

By the time some of our foreign-based professionals begin to turn down invitations, I won't blame them much!

I remember the days when Supernerd convinced so many here that Rohr had to go.

I kept pointing out that this was a ploy by agents of certain Nigerian coaches to get the ball

Then, he was always talking about sexy football. Not the 36 match unbeaten run. Fun times.
How he used to say Osihmen was better/more complete than Haaland.

The best thing you can do for yourself to beware that some people are here solely for propaganda: to push certain agenda for whoever is pulling their strings.

Yes. Rohr was finished. So give it a rest.

Attention seeker, what unbeaten run? Rohr lost to SA in Uyo. SA's first competitive victory over Nigeria came under Rohr. Rohr oversaw losses to minnows just before Afcon 2021. His decline with us was obvious and you talk of 32 games unbeaten run.

I trust u must be the agent yourself hired to come sow discord and discredit true thinking fans who operare independently of anyone. So shut up already with your conspiracy nonsense. It is soooo off tangent.

No qualifications for back to back world cup in 35 years.

Kayode ended with a brace. As his side won 4-1.

Bamgboye scored the lone goal for Hatayspor.

The painful part is that this same CAF and FIFA didn't allow so many countries play their matches at home, claiming no good stadium but allowed South Africa to play in a worst stadium. The whole stadium ban is a charade.

i always feel gaslighted whenever i read someone saying we should not have sacked rohr. I will always feel as if the memories of his last match against cape verde where we were almost out of the qualifiers save a touch line block from ndidi secured which secured us the second round ticket.

a trip down to the pages of this thread during rohr's matches in 2021 should give you a proper education of what the situation was because it seems the rohrsexuals have developed selective amnesia. Rohr that started with winning groups with matches to spare was now playing out drab draws to crawl out of his last qualifiers yet we should not have sacked him. Una come dey talk as if dem never born person by then.
