Between this new 15C and Spark 40

Which one will you advise someone to buy?

A big xiaomi fan here, but sometimes "company no send me, me sef no send dem, na me get the money"

I got the Spark 40 Pro mid last month and I can tell you, I've no regrets whatsoever.

Yes, there are compromises but I chose to ignore those issues.

The issues:
1. It's not a 5G phone.
2. Not a powerful SOC.

Why did I end up picking it?
1. The 5G issue.
It's a 4.5G device. If one continues to follow trend, you may live the rest of your life not truly happy, because you will always want the latest gadgets, which may not always be tenable.

Unfortunately, new gadgets/technologies keep coming out everyday. So, how many can you get before you get satisfied?

2. 3.5mm jack.
Call me old school. Yes, I agree, but for now, I can't do without 3.5mm Jack.

3. Fm radio, absolutely. Personally, it's a must, no two ways about it.

4. I am not a gamer, so nothing concerns me with FPS, phone call on duty, shengen impact or whatever they call it.

5. I am not a camera person, I don't even have single picture of myself on the phone or anybody.

Personally, whenever I want to watch any phone videos on YouTube, I always fast-forward the aspects when it gets to camera features, there's nothing new in cameras for me.

At least, no camera in this world can snap heaven, so why kill myself.

Many more to write, but for now hold on to those points up there.

However, I still enjoy the works of Xiaomi (maybe years ago) and I might come back to the fold someday.

So, @Romeo288 do your research very well before deciding and most importantly, be happy and comfortable with your final decision.

Buy the spark 40 pro. It is better than the 15c in every aspect. It is a mid-range device unlike the 15c which uses a low end CPU

The pro version is somehow expensive and I budgeted not more than 150k

I'm also considering galaxy A07 because of it's Hellio G99 feature

Nice inputs tho I'm also considering the Galaxy A07 also a mid-range phone but a flagship processor

The galaxy A07 is good considering the fact that it uses a mid-range chipset but it looks like a device that belongs in the low end segment. Firstly, it looks ugly then Samsung put emmc 5.1 storage. Wicked! When midrange devices are using UFS majorly. The read and write speeds would be slower. Well... It's still better than the Redmi 15c due to the Helio G99 only

This my Redmi note 11 pro just suddenly stopped charging. I don't think its a hardware issue. It's still the original charger. If I plug it to a power bank, the power bank indicates it's being used. But the phone doesn't indicate. And if I turn it reboot the phone, it's always at 15%. Doesn't drain too. Please assist guys

might need to factory reset it or run software on the phone....
Will factory reset solve it? I don't know how to download and install ROM manually as suggested by Genius

Found the problem. Because it fell, one of the battery terminals came loose. Took it to a technician who could remove the glass back and snapped it in place. That did it.

But you didn't state the part "it fell" in your previous post.

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Danator(m):
This Redmi note 14/HyperOS is riddled with so much bugs. From 4G/LTE not auto switching, to screen blanking out and then going to max brightness even at night, to music audio drops when you increase/decrease volume when screen is locked. Worst of all, my phone was unlocked by an unregistered fingerprint!
Xiaomi really lost the ball with this UI. They better release an update to fix all these issues.

Format it. It should work better
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by ToshComputers: 7:01am On Sep 23, 2025

if you have a dead Poco F3 with a functional screen or needs a Poco F3 with a line on the screen.
Touch is working perfectly but line becomes brighter while when pressure is applied to the screen (e.g. while playing Efootball)
Kindly send me a DM
