QueenJazz:
Hmmm. What's that smell this lovely morning? 😌🥰 Ah yes, it's the smell of trolls saturating this fine thread like a curry fart lingering in an elevator. 🤢🤮

What's the matter, Lioness? Did I hurt your feelings? 😭

I mean, here you are, a "winning" fan, supposedly on top of the world because your team qualified for the World Cup, yet you're logging in with your 5,280th moniker just to try to lift your frail hands and land a punch.
It's giving "pained." It's giving "obsessed." It's giving "I'm the winner, but why does it feel like I lost?" 😭😭😭😭

The funniest part is, this is a Super Eagles safe space. This is where we come to lick our wounds, discuss our team, and pretend we're not crying into our jerseys. It's not a place for a Bafana Bafana fan to come and cry about a few jokes. But hey, to each their own, I guess. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

It's truly a testament to my words that Nigerians live rent-free in your head. But let me be clear, you're not a special guest, you're just a special kind of desperate. You keep coming back, and I'll keep banning and muting. It's a fun little game we have. I guess you could say I own you now. You're my personal punching bag. My subordinate. So keep popping up with your 1,000,000,000,000,000 monikers. All of them will be systematically erased from my mentions. You never start o. I hope you won't end up taking your frustration to the streets. At this rate, your concerned neighbors might need to hold you down and restrain you from all the wailings and tears you were crying yesterday. That way there'll be peace in their neighborhood. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You'll keep coming, and I'll keep shutting you down, and we'll both be happy. You get to feel special, and I get to have a good laugh.

The joke, my dear, is on you. You came here to gloat, but you're leaving in tears. You came here to mock, but you're the one who looks like a clown. You came here to win, but you've already lost. And the best part? You'll be back. I just know it. Because some people are just gluttons for punishment. 😘😘
Na safarigirl be this? Damn. So cold. So hot.

Onyedika isn’t a ball carrier either. The natural ball carrier we have in the current super eagles team for now is Chrisantus Uche. Onyedika is more like a DLP/CDM

Akinsamiro is another natural good ball carrier too

As for Bashiru I don’t even know where he fits in team and also his strength as a midfielder. A ball carrier too but yet to convince me in the national team
But somehow Bashiru makes things happen. It's either he scores or gives an assist.

But yes. I agree with Awaziem to RB as another option while Benjamin keeps his CB place.

That is Option 4 @Elyte89
Awaziem as a RB in 2025?

Yes. You were satisfied with Haram league's Ekong's back to back calamity in two crucial WCQs fixtures so there should be no issues with Awaziem who is back in Ligue 1 and has been playing consistently... in 2025.

@ the bolded, and we want our national team to play tiki taka o
It's not about tiki taka but doing basic things in the midfield, playing against the likes of Zimbabwe, Lesotho and still finding it difficult to hold the midfield is annoying.

You said it all.

From the body language of players, you know how desirous a team is.

In the last WAFCON our girls were all over the Moroccan team even though they were at a disadvantage being two goals down from a hostile home team with fans advantage.

They came with grit and conviction in the second half that eventually worked in their way, their positive mentality was what affected the Moroccans after they conceded the 1st goal which our girls capitalised on. Even if we had later go on to lose that match, I would be satisfied as a fan because we didn't go out without a fight.

The only match I could remember the eagles had similar mentality as the girls was in AFCON 2019 round of 16 Vs Cameroon.

Our Super Eagles are too jittery they are afraid of losing hence they play safe especially when it's a match they are expected to win.
From the 4-4 draw vs Sierra Leone, to the 2022 world cup qualifier vs Ghana in Abuja to the 1-1 draw vs Zimbabwe and the current 1-1 draw with South Africa.
I think we need a mentality change in the team.
Mujtahida:
The truth is that as a fan your level of hope is determined by the body language of the players. Do these players still believe that we can qualify?

I keenly followed Super Falcons in their quest for mission X. Even when they were trailing 2-0, I sat down because I could see that they themselves had the deep conviction that they could win.

In our last match, only Bassey played with that kind of spirit.

There's a difference between playing well and not giving up.

🚨 Nigeria legend Segun Odegbami wants the Super Eagles to be rebuilt around a new generation of players, beginning with Brighton defender Benjamin Frederick and AC Milan’s rising star David Odogu.

👤 Odegbami 🎤: "20-year old debutant, Benjamin Frederick, played brilliantly and safely in the match against Rwanda.

"There was no justification to have kept him on the bench in the next match for an aging William Troost-Ekong (editor's note: Fredrick started the game but Trooost-Ekong was replaced at halftime). Now we know better. Benjamin is the revelation of the year for me.

"There are a few others in the horizon, untainted by the ‘failure’ of the current generation, sprouting around the European football circuit.

"There is David Odogu. I wrote about him about a year ago. He was 18 years old at the time and was an integral part of the winning German team at the last Under-17 World Championship.

"Three weeks ago, he was signed by Italian giants, AC Milan. He is that good. Nigeria has the opportunity to lure him to play for the Super Eagles. His combination with Benjamin Frederick will be, in my estimation, the best pairing at the centre of any defense in Africa for the next decade."
