Hello everyone
Please I have a brother who was awarded a B.Tech in Biochemistry from FUTO
But what the degree is showing on Anabin is Bsc in Biochemistry.
Can he still go ahead to apply?
Also, if we have anyone from FUTO who had a similar experience and has successfully done this application, I'll appreciate the feedback.
Thank you

OMG, does anyone have his phone number or E-Mail so we can reach out to him? He has been such a supportive and valuable member of this group from the very beginning — always ready to help and share his knowledge. It would be a real loss not to have him around. I truly hope he comes back; misunderstandings happen sometimes, and we should all be able to move past them. Let’s remind him how much we appreciate everything he has done for us and encourage him to return.

Hi good morning

Does anyone have any telegram links or WhatsApp groups for opportunity card application. I’m searching for a job in Germany and have questions. Thank you
Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Orhorho: 4:36pm On Sep 14, 2025
@ Hannania has really been helpful here. Lets see we can reach out him.
@ cyberbro Please Can you also help here? You seem to be knowledgeable too about the Opportunity card. We need all the help we can get.

Yes, I did mine through DR-WALTER via Expatrio (instead of buying directly from DR-WALTER). It was more straightforward, I didn’t have to choose between many options, and you won’t need to pay anything until you activate the policy after you arrive in Germany.
- Just create an Expatrio account and choose the Health Insurance option that includes DR-WALTER (travel/visa insurance).
- Enter your details and set your planned arrival date.
- Expatrio generates the insurance confirmation PDF immediately you can use it for your application and at your interview.

Orhorho:
@ Helenaaa

I love your "Never say Die" spirit
I guess we won't be notified via email. It seems one has to keep checking at regular interval for available appointment date.
I also have a question. Have you done your insurance?, and which one did you do?
I tried Dr. Walter but I need some guidance on how to go about it while trying to get my appointment date.

The test is 100% real for opportunity card applicants.

A contact of mine who went there recently for his Chancenkarte interview said he was tested, but they're just basic questions. I believe it depends on your degree or field, so expect a short test in 1 or 2 subject areas.

They probably just want to be sure those going there to work have basic knowledge to contribute to their society.

Any idea what the visa success rate is like so far ? Also are they taking the primary and secondary school reports seriously?

God bless you for confirming, I’ve been waiting for the day someone would confirm that Opportunity Card applicants are indeed taking a test. Many people told me to stop posting about the test, but I was only trying to help by letting you all know how to prepare so it wouldn’t come as a surprise. The questions are basic—just study according to your field. Wishing everyone the best of luck!

@hannania..
How are you boss.. and thanks for your precious time.
Kindly help out with these few questions below...
1. On the Anadin site, my uni was there and my degree too was there.
I have a B.sc biz admin, but the degree under my university is written, Masters in biz admin not b.sc.
So can I go ahead without the ZAB analysis.

2. My POF should be ready by next year Feb, March.
So when do you feel or suggest I should start with the application and processing.

Thank you very much as I await your favourable response boss.

I wouldn't know, cos I'm not in Nigeria, but I am up to date on it and I think it's high so far.

Generally, German embassy doesn't deny visas unless there's something wrong with the application. As per primary and secondary school certs, don't play with German embassy ooo. If at all they don't verify primary, they must verify your WAEC results. So I advise anyone applying to be transparent.

Alright bro, I just wanted to ask if you know Hannania personally or have been in contact with him. Please tell him we’d love to have him back in the group and that he should let go of whatever happened. We all know he was only trying to help us, and we truly appreciate everything he’s done so far. Thanks!

My appointment date is 6th October. From the information provided by the Consulate. it takes approximately 3 weeks to process the Visa.
when is the best arrival date to pick in EXPATRIO assuming I want to travel 2 weeks after I get my Visa? From your experience

Thanks bro, by school reports I meant like the result for every term that school gives not the certificates and waec. Certificates and Waec are available, just trying to know if they emphasize on the termly results.

Hello,

Please, I wanted to ask some questions,

I'm filling out my Expatrio blocked account application.

For

What is your source of funds? "PRIVATE MEANS" correct?

What is your source of wealth? "PRIVATE MEANS" correct?

Which country serves as your primary tax residence? "NIGERIA" correct?

TAX ID Number... How do I get this, I don't have one.

Note; the account will be funded from Germany.

Please, kindly treat as urgent.

And, after this application, I do not need another student health insurance, right?
I didn't get a Tax ID stuff, maybe someone else can guide you. I don't think where the country account matters but I used family as source.

They don't need your term results, nothing like that. What you need is a valid primary school leaving certificate or testimonial, your secondary school testimonial (if available) and your WAEC result, which is the most important.

Hi Everyone,

I have booked an appointment, but I am still seeing "make an appointment" on my profile.
I want to know if that is not anomaly. or there is an action for me to take.

That's how it appears, just leave it like that. Since you've booked appointment, you have no business with that anymore.

Just keep your appointment confirmation and focus on the forthcoming interview.

Best of luck.

I joined the wait list on the 5th of May and submitted 2 weeks ago, they made corrections after 6 days, then opened the appointment 3 days later.
