The Guardian is very liberal and the WSJ is conservative but have in no way been cozying up to Trump, quite the contrary. I have not read any such quote in any of their articles but if they made a mistake and corrected it, it’s not because they are a joke.

I want to be hopeful too. I used to like and cite them often before the election. I would be happy to know they’re not part of those capitulating to him but a media house as big as they are not verifying such important information before taking to press is a huge oversight that I can’t help but think they’re a becoming a joke.

I’d say they’re still better than traditional conservative media because those ones won’t even retract or apologize.

Then again the Smithsonian and Havard did let Trump bully them into doing his will. The same way so called “liberal media” CBS and MSNBC let go of some of the most watched Trump critics even though they claim that’s not the reason.
