She actually has a point, though she brought it from a feminist perspective. Logically if a woman works 9-5, she's exhausted after work, so the husband must be understanding enough to make sure he's helping around. But she made it about money, that's where it appeared like pride.

I don't think there's any marriage where women do all the work, even when they don't earn, they're not strong enough to do everything in the house.

More physically demanding stuff are left for the husbands, but general stuff like cooking and cleaning are done by the housewife.
