This is The Flying Eagles flying out to Istanbul tonight before heading to Santiago, Chile.

It is meant to be a 21-man list.

19 players counted in the photos before their departure. The 2 missing are Arierhi Kparobo and Daniel Daga who I believe will join them in Istanbul or Santiago, Chile.

I see...

Daniel Bameyi (skipper)
Israel Ayuma
Ebenezer Harcourt
Odinaka Okoro
Tahir Maigana
Ahmed Akinyele
Auwal Ibrahim
Amos Ochoche Onyejefu (Reims B RB)
Sani Suleiman (As Trencin winger formerly of Akwa utd)
Charles Agada (he's back!)
Orseer Achihi (Royal Antwerp)

Even if na only goal keeper, make this squad produce for us .
It's been a long time since we saw a player move from U20 straight to super eagles.

Harcourt plus one other midfielder is not bad.

About Ezenwata. He featured for Chelsea U18s yesterday and scored in their 1-1 draw vs Arsenal U18s. So I doubt he will make it. Chelsea probably stopped him.
Oh thanks. Even last week, he honoured the invitation of England U18 and score against Morocco in an International Tournament in Spain. "O ti lo" lol

I think this U20 side has the potential to be better than the 2023 set that produced Benjamin Frederick.

Some exciting talents are in the side.

The future of nigerian football is seriously bright. Football academies are a silent revolution. All we need is a good ciach for the Super Eagles who will notice. A joshua generation is coming to finally win us tge World Cup and its less than 10 years away. The fact that some European clubs will not let our u20 go to the world cup shows how serious their talent is. I mean it's getting obvious everyday. Chrisantus uche metoric rise, tolu arokodare from Latvia to Premier league. Its quietly happening. I believe we should not sack chelle and make him see what he has in his hands. A country brimming with talents that can easily win the world cup. Can't these foreign coaches see. Okay is now hafiz umar, victor orakpo. I hope victor orakpo is in the u20. We have a 15 year old goalkeeping prodigy. Sanni suleiman needs to be watched. We have ebenezer akinsanmiro. The dennis in the Turkish league. On and on. All we need us a good ciach who will open his eyes. OK I have forgotten 19 year old ibrahim alani in the Spanish second division. He is a midfielder. The funny thing is I have nit mentioned vince osuji

I wouldnt blame him. English clubs are very petty and would try to block him from playing for the U20. Also its not in a FIFA window so they are not obliged to release him. I hope Chelle still keeps an eye on him. The England matches he played are non binding so he can easily swicth to Nigeria as long as he does not play in a competitive game like Uefa qualifiers.

Hmmm I would have liked to see some players from Nduka Ugbade 2022 U17 set make this U20 team. Guys like Yahaya Lawali, Emmanuel Michael, Victor Okeke, Richrd Udoh etc. for continuity. I only recognize Charles Agada. It would have been a long shot but Uchenna Ogundu of Alayantaspor could have been called up too. The guy is already balling out in the Turkish top flight. Also what happened to Jonathan Spiff of River Plate? I though he was going to make the squad. That boy is deadly. I hope we dont foolishly lose him to Argentina o. Anyway sha good luck to them.

Kelechi Iheanacho even had his name spelt wrong but still delivered. Very Nice.

The Celtic fans really took a strong liking to Nacho yesterday.

Victor Orakpo wont make it. On loan at Montpellier in Ligue 2 from OGC Nice (Ligue 1). He battled injuries last season so he's back but his club prefers to keep him.

Ibrahim Alani wont be released too by Valladolid. He has already played 3 games off the bench in their strong start to La Liga 2. They are already looking good in the early season battles so will need all hands on deck.

Vince Osuji is very busy as well with Club Brugge 2nd side in the Belgian 2nd tier. Infact he had a tough one last game scoring an own goal vs FC Liege but overall he has been racking up good playing time, dropping solid performances and gaining valuable experience.

The absences of some really talented U20 lads is noted but the side still looked stacked with some exciting names I have been following for a while. I hope they come good at the WC firstly as a team and then as individuals.

Charles Agada has only 6 minutes of football since joining istra in February.

Auwal is clubless
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m):
Achichi Orseer has already made his senior debut since earlier in the year at Antwerp.

Ochoche is a young talented RB who has gone from Rockers FC, Benin to NNL and now to France and already shining with Reims B bagging even a goal after moving up from Reims U19.

Agada have had serious injury episodes which kept him out of action at the WafuB u20s and even the U20 Afcon proper but his talent is not in doubt. His injuries also delayed his european journey so joining Ayuma at NK Istra is his first true euro break. We saw Agada with the U17s at the Afcon proper under Ugbade back in 2023 and he impressed. He was also 2nd top scorer at the Viareggio Cup with 8 goals behind Hafiz Umar Ibrahim (10 goals) who is now balling for Reims in Ligue 2.

As for Auwal Ibrahim, scorer of our first goal at the last U20 Afcon. Aliyu and his crew probably trust him enough. Apart from seeing him at the U20 Afcon, BascoVanVeli saw him at Akwa Utd so I believe he can throw more light on him.
Auwal is not even among the lads that really excites me in this side... I just listed the players I recognise from the pics.

In the end, this current U20 team does have some exciting talents to look forward to. This was the same way many didnt give the last U20 side a chance to impress only for them to do so despite the frailties we all saw.

THE BENJAMIN FREDERICK YOU ALL CELEBRATE TODAY CAME FROM THAT 2023 U20s which most of you wrote off as a waste of time.

I believe you know already that Ebenezer Harcourt is genuinely U20. Same as Kparobo Arierhi and even Odinaka Okoro just to mention a few I can vouch for.

A few other genuine young lads will miss out due to their Euro clubs not releasing them but let me drop another example of a young talent in this squad heading to the WC.

His name is Amos Ochoche Onyejefu

Look at the pics below...

Pics 1 & 2: Early days of Ochoche Amos as a young Rockers FC player in Benin city, Edo state.

Please, let us do our due diligence researching these lads. This was how some pushed the agenda that Uzoho had a child while at the U17 WC in 2013.

Again I repeat. We are stacked on the left side of defence. Agu, Bruno, Zaidu. It is wonderful.

Agu was brilliant yesterday.

Now we need same options on the right.
