BREAKING: The Washington Post has FIRED its last full-time Black opinion columnist for criticizing Charlie Kirk…by posting HIS OWN STATEMENTS. After Kirk's assassination, Karen Attiah, an eleven-year veteran of the Post, wrote a thread on Bluesky condemning political violence and criticizing how America shrugs off gun deaths and gives compassion for white men who commit political violence.

“I did my journalistic duty, reminding people that despite President Trump’s partisan rushes to judgement, no suspect or motive had been identified in the killing of Charlie Kirk — exercising restraint even as I condemned hatred and violence” writes Attiah in a Substack piece about her firing.

“My only direct reference to Kirk was one post— his own words on record.” Attiah paraphrased one of Kirk’s most revolting statements, where he claimed that “Black women do not have the brain processing power to be taken seriously. You have to go steal a white person's slot.”

Just for paraphrasing Kirk IN HIS OWN WORDS, the Jeff Bezos-owned Washington Post told her that was “unacceptable” and “gross misconduct” and accused her of “endangering the physical safety of colleagues,” which is beyond ridiculous.

“Washington D.C. no longer has a paper that reflects the people it serves. What happened to me is part of a broader purge of Black voices from academia, business, government, and media — a historical pattern as dangerous as it is shameful — and tragic,” mournfully writes Attiah.

This comes on the heels of a nationwide effort of Republicans, who claim to love “free speech,” to catalog and get fired anyone and everyone who criticized Charlie Kirk or spoke disrespectfully of him. Their hypocrisy is unbelievable. The GOP is the party of cancel culture, and their billionaire masters are doing everything they can to crush free speech and force everyone to venerate a monster.

Since Charlie Kirk was assassinated on Wednesday, social media accounts associated with him, Turning Point USA, and his wife Erika Kirk have seen an astonishing rise in followers and subscribers.

I mean the word out there is black people are inherently less qualified than white people. Even with same or higher education and more years of experience, you’re less qualified because you’re bald. If you get the job it just be DEI because DEI certainly means giving job to unqualified black people. So not surprising

What he should have said instead
