Skidee:1. You have to do your ZAB/Anabin cos your specific degree isn't listed. Master's is different from Bachelor's degree, so I suggest you start with that. 2. You can create your profile on the portal once your ZAB evaluation is ready, since it takes about 3 months. Since your funding won't be ready till March next year, use the current time to gather ALL documents, primary, secondary, uni, professional certs, birth certificate etc. You can then decide to join the waiting list by either December or early January... NOTE that if you join the waiting list and submit for preliminary review too early and they can't see your proof of funds and you can't submit it within their given timeframe during the review, your application might be disqualified, so you want to make sure your timing is adequate. |

You will get an email if you need to make any correction. If you don't get any email. just keep checking the portal. Soon you will get a prompt to make an appointment. Diceman8: |

Hannania should come back o. Regardless of anything, he has been helpful. Flops may happen even though the reason why Heleena lost his application may not be solely due to the reason he thought cos from his own write up, he wasn't entirely sure. And to Cyberbro, when you saw that info he gave was wrong, you should have at least created a dispute like the one you dropped about the language test. This will create doubt and perhaps prompt people to research more about it before acting. The writeup by Heleena is condemning and I understand why Hannania deleted his profile cos when you're trying to help and people now turn around and pin the blame on you when something goes wrong. Let’s remember: this is not a paid thread, and no one is profiting from the information shared here. Everyone follows guidance at their own discretion. If something doesn’t work out, the responsibility ultimately rests with the individual, not with those offering free advice. Hannania’s contributions have helped people with more than 95% accuracy, and that deserves acknowledgment. If anyone feels misled, it’s best to express it politely rather than writing condemning responses. The same information we discuss here is publicly available to everyone. I’m not sure Hannania will return, but I truly hope he does. In the meantime, knowledgeable contributors like Cyberbro can continue where he left off. And please, let’s all remember: anyone acting on advice shared here does so at their own risk. |

One thing I truly admire about him is his willingness to answer everyone’s questions thoroughly. Even if he’s been offline for a while, he always responds once he’s back, especially when you mention him in a post. He was actually the first person to reply to my question about the Opportunity Card back in March. I once sent him an email, but he only communicates via Nairaland. If he’s reading this — or if anyone here knows him personally — please let him know we’d love to have him back. He should let go of any past misunderstandings. We genuinely appreciate all the help he’s given, and may God reward him abundantly. Our goal here is to make it to Germany together. I see us as one big family, supporting each other now and in the future. May all our travel dreams come true, in Jesus’ name. Amen. God bless everyone! herlonso: |

Good afternoon house ,Please I need clarity on the following: 1. Is it an oral or written test 2. Is the test based on your course of study or work experience for people who studied something different from their work experience 3. When writing the motivation letter what areas are expected to be there? 4. Should the letter be justified or aligned left? I would appreciate feedback from as many people as can assist |

1. Written Test: Short test of 10–15 questions. 2. Subjects: Based on your field of study. For example: Computer Science graduate: Mathematics and Computer Science questions. Mechanical Engineering graduate: Mathematics and Physics questions. Note: In some rare cases, they might ask you to pick your favorite subjects and test you on those. Tip: Review the basics of your field thoroughly. 3. Motivation Letter: Include planned stay, career and personal benefits, and future goals. 4. Formatting: Left-aligned; include your own address and the embassy’s address. Omonene031: |

Please house, as a Nigerian, can one confirm to me that I can use 6months block account for my visa application and if yes and it has worked for anyone here, like how much is the 6months in Nigeria currency. So I can start working towards it. Thank you for your quick response |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Diceman8: 2:09pm On Sep 21, 2025 |
Hi. We havent heard anyone being successful for the 6month blocked account. And most people that try to apply with it are instead told to add money and make it 12month Blocked account. And for 6months it costs about 11million naira, 12months its about 22million naira Singlefile: |

| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Helenaaa: 11:25pm On Sep 21, 2025 |
Just to clarify my intention. My post wasn’t to condemn anyone or pin blame on @Hannania. I take full responsibility for my own actions and decisions with regards to my application. I shared my experience so others can avoid the same mistake and not to discredit someone who has clearly helped many people. I agree with one point you made; 'This is a volunteer, unpaid thread. We all act at our own discretion.' @herlonso I appreciate your perspective. I genuinely hope you never experience a sudden block or shutdown mid-application. When it happened to me, months of work/waiting disappeared in a moment; the uncertainty, re-queuing, and silence are tougher than they look from the outside. I took responsibility for my part and shared my story so others can avoid it, not to condemn anyone. Let’s keep things evidence-based, and supportive so everyone can navigate this process with fewer setbacks. Like you said, when information looks uncertain or potentially wrong, it helps if others politely challenge it (like creating a “dispute” post) so people pause, double-check, and research further. Going forward, can we align on some simple norms to help everyone? If you’re not sure, please say you're not sure. I genuinely appreciate @Hannania’s contributions and would be happy if he returns. And thank you to @Cyberbro and others who step in with practical guidance. We’re all trying to get this right. If my write-up came across as harsh, that wasn’t my intention. Wishing everyone smooth applications and as always, please do your own research before acting on any advice here. herlonso: |

Congrats and all the best! Make sure -you purchase your self addressed envelope from dhl or ups - your photo is the right size - your documents(everything you uploaded)are original, no need for copies. - you get there early if you wanna leave early too. although the queue for national visa is not as long seeing as school has started already. -you have cash (1,000NGN notes only) or bank naira card for visa fee payment. -you know the basics of your profession/field of study cos you may be tested. -you keep your bag @ home or in your car, cos you will not be allowed to even stand on the queue with a bag. just have the things you need in your hands or in an envelope/folder - phones are switched off while on the queue(they will check), and leaving the queue can be detrimental, so conclude all phone matters before getting there -never mind the harshness of them people at the gate, do not let it frazzle you. just listen to their instructions, follow it and communicate boldly and eloquently.
