Victor Osimhen's character in this BR Football edit is so mightily cool.

Check it out @brfootball on X. It is UCL battle royale.

Osasu Obayiuwana is a proven and respected Voice in African football Journalism. So na him dey that studio. Very good.

Idah Peterside on point all the way.

Raymond, a neutral and sound authority on all things legal within FIFA and CAF hit the nail on the head. Someone is playing cards with those 3 pts.... FIFA cannot and will not escape their own rules NO MATTER HOW LONG THEY DELAY.

Raymond pointed out twice in this video and clearly too that in all his years of legal football experiences with CAS and all that, he has never seen FIFA drag their feet this much on a decision for just one game.

Time will tell coz if those 3 pts are not gone, a dangerous precedent is set.

Thanks man. Enjoyed every minute of this.

Motsepe too close to Infantino and that might be a factor here. I mean, it is a strong possibility. Os that's Motsepe's country. Plus Caf operates like a cartel, especially with what Osasu exposed lately

From ur last option FIFA HAS two options …to do the right thing and deduct d points

Or Damn it and soil their reputation

Infact dt Nigerian 🇳🇬 case osasu highlighted is what is given FIFA headache 🤕,cos it’s d same thing (same way Algeria 🇩🇿 didn’t protest, it’s d same way Lesotho 🇱🇸 too didn’t protest and Dey acted INDEPENDENTLY to dock the points .so no hiding place for dem to do OJORO 🤣🤣🤣

Even if those points are docked by FIFA, then what? At this stage, how does it benefit us? Are we seriously expecting South Africa to lose to either Rwanda or Zimbabwe?

This 3-point deduction stuff was more interesting when we hadn't played SA yet and there was a chance we would actually win all out remaining matches. Right now I find it hard to be excited about it. Should they deduct it? Obviously yes, if they don't want to appear shady and commit robbery in broad daylight. But how does it affect us at this point? How does it salvage our position?

On an unrelated note, please who the heck is Abdullahi Shitu that is supposedly from Man City playing for us in the upcoming U-20 world cup? Never heard of him. Plus, he's non-existent on Google apart from recent news reports of the Flying Eagles list. Which Man City is he playing for? Is it the one in England or somewhere else?

If Dey deduct it now, I can tell u dt it will
Affect South Africa 🇿🇦 psychologically besides i doubt if SA will defeat Rwanda 🇷🇼 at home..best bet is a draw

That point will only be deducted when it's clear it won't have impact on RSA's qualification.

Babe, we have fumbled this right from the beginning and at this time we can only hold on to any hope we have.

SA losing 4 points in the final 2 games might just do d trick. And there is a chance of this happening. That SA team doesn't seem to hv xter to me.

If they fail to beat Zimbabwe in Rwanda and Rwanda at home this will open up a whole new permutation of possibilities especially with the three points deduction.

Believe me, if any of Nigeria, Benin or Rwanda finishes 3 points below SA, the 3 points deduction will be shouted to the highest heavens till fifa does something and a whole lot of association and confederation globally will be sympathetic to it .

FIFA that approved that potato farm as stadium to play football and made SA to play seven games at home and two games in few days in same city and stadium. That alone has made me forget those 3 points cos that stadium own is the worst I have seen from FIFA ever.

So long as he remains in the UCL squad for the league phase, I am good. Juric and co better fix things with Lookman so he can play ball again. Playing PSG without their star man... we will see the result today anyway.

Those 3pts must be taken from SA. Not for our WC Hopes but for Justice and to avoid setting a precedent that will cause chaos down the line. Let the rule be applied for the integrity of the game at least.

There are integrity issues already with the wcq, especially in our group. Even if this rule is eventually applied, why it has taken this long is an indictment already.

FIFA are set to give 70% more money to all clubs who release players for World Cup Qualifiers and the World Cup Finals. 🚨

£260million will be shared between all clubs.

We need more local players to participate (not necessarily play) in the qualifiers to benefit the local clubs.

If the 3 points are not deducted from SA, I hope one of the countries will take the issue to the Court of Arbitration in Sports, irrespective of the qualification outcome.

The penalty for fielding an ineligible player is clearly spelt out in the FIFA rule books. and there is already a precedence.

I know FIFA is corrupt and there's politicking in the game but I'll be interested to know the technicality FIFA will use as its defence to wriggle out of the issue.
