They didn't mind where he came from. They went for his qualities. If it had been in Nigeria people would have seen only his tribe and religion. They will remind us about how many people that have been appointed from his tribe.

Nigeria is the most difficult country to rule. Everything is centered on tribe and religion. Politicians exploit this to their advantage.

That depend highly on their financial structures. In Nigeria, the financial structure is porous, accessible to thieves in politics and other political contractors. Also, there's nothing like punitive consequence if you are found wanting. If the situation ain't the same with Botswana, if there's a good financial structure and monitoring, it would be very hard for any body in Swana to steal the country fund.......
