It made me who I am today and I don't compromise even when I'm lacking. Proud of my parents.

Too strict for me I left home. But the home training later became helpful

Not just any child but children raised by struggling parents. The damage will even affect your adulthood.

Made me better and understand the implications of every choice I make. As for every choice made, comes a consequence either positive or negative.

I wasn't raised strictly, i was morally in a way that i did everything in terms of struggling, I've known being hustle since i left school, and am still in it, I came from a struggling home, and now am into it with a determined and optimistic mindset.

Not by a strict parent but by a strict deeper life hostel proprietor who insisted watching TV is a sin simply because Pastor Kumuyi said so, all plead to allow tv in the common room fell on deaf ear

I visited same man recently and I saw dstv in his house with highest level of subscription for himself and his family

Newsflash... Many kids born by Nigerian parents living in US and UK are being sent back to Nigeria for schooling.

A lot of those kids raised abroad are so spoilt and emotionally fragile... It's horrible 😞

It has affected my social life. I rarely interact with people in person and when someone stays too long in my space, I start to feel uncomfortable. However, it shaped me into a responsible man

it affected me positively, i didnt turn out to be a yahoo boy or cultist or armed robber or a miscreant like most of my peers that were brought up by parents that didnt care about disciplining their kids.

you see this new parents now, they take their kids to clubs, bars etc. they allow their girls dance seductively online in order to trend.

Nigeria, as it is today, is destroyed, not by the GenZs, many of whom are yet to get their foot on the ground, but by the GenXs and those before who seem to reason like corrupt criminals every chance they get. 😩😩😩

My parents were strict...especially my dad. Im so glad even in his strictness when things were hard, He provided and sent us to one of the best schools in our community. That help me and shaped me the man I am today.
I can say I'm doing well myself with the knowledge they impacted on me and the institutions I passed through.
