Glasner should pls get this up and running. 10 games out of 38 league games... we are already 4 games in so 34 league games left.

But I think Uche should and will get strong game time in Europe. Palace features in the Uefa Conference League. First league phase game on October 2.

opes:
Still on Christantus Uche transfer to Crystal Palace.

This video summarises how traumatized we were in 2006. Everything was wrong.
1) Our stars choosing match to play.
2) more than one coach during the qualifier.
3) ineptitude of NFF and Ignorance of rule by NFF.

Same ignorance of rule cqsu do us to miss 2012 Nations cup. How a football body that want to participate in a tournament doesn't know the rules is baffling.

I bet NFF doesn't know that they had the power to protest the Bloemfontein stadium in last match. I can bet too they didn't inspect the stadium before hand.

2026! We are there again. No lessons learnt.

He should be able to get 10 starts, irrespective of the games he will miss during AFCON

PSG to humble Atalanta 4 nil today
Then they’d know the importance of their best player
Lookman should just eat chicken at home
But chief has Lookman indicated that he now wants to play for Atalanta?

I love Lookman but let's not be twisting narratives here. Lookman excused himself from the squad during the transfer saga. There is no confirmation yet that he has expressed desire to return.

And no Osayi is not out. The thing is I am not convinced with Osayi at RB. He is not reliable. His good moments are very few, his defending is cogently suspect and the only decent thing he brings is his attacking which is still underpar.

Kog45:
Doctor, pls is Osayi out like Aina cuz I don't see Agu benching Osayi....but if Agu can be an option good for the team.

Even if those points are docked by FIFA, then what? At this stage, how does it benefit us? Are we seriously expecting South Africa to lose to either Rwanda or Zimbabwe?

This 3-point deduction stuff was more interesting when we hadn't played SA yet and there was a chance we would actually win all out remaining matches. Right now I find it hard to be excited about it. Should they deduct it? Obviously yes, if they don't want to appear shady and commit robbery in broad daylight. But how does it affect us at this point? How does it salvage our position?

On an unrelated note, please who the heck is Abdullahi Shitu that is supposedly from Man City playing for us in the upcoming U-20 world cup? Never heard of him. Plus, he's non-existent on Google apart from recent news reports of the Flying Eagles list. Which Man City is he playing for? Is it the one in England or somewhere else?
it doesn’t need to affect us, so long Benin will benefit and likely qualify im fine…if they deduct that 3point they will fall back to 14pts and 5goals…they are playing Zimbabwe in Botswana and later facing a stubborn Rwanda…i see a 4point accumulation for them here or even less
SA 17 - 3pts (14pts +5goals) winning or drawing Zim
Ben 14pts +4goals(next win to take them to 17pts
Nig 11pts + 2goals (next win take us to 14pts)
Rwa 11pts (next win likely to take them to 14pts)

omo no go whine that 3points deduction oooo….if it dares happen🤣🤣….SA will be in hot seat

if it dares happen….walai Rwanda will fight their lives🤣🤣

ok lets do a bias prediction for next game
Rwa v Ben(Rwa to win takes them on 14pts level with benin)

Les vs Nig (Nigeria to win takes us to 14pts level with Benin and Rwanda)

Zim v SA (Zim to draw or do a shocking win🤣🤣 and leaves SA on 14pts after they must have deducted them that 3pts)

Moving to the last game 10 everyone will now be on
SA 14pts
Nig 14pts
Ben 14pts
Rwa 14pts
And you say Rwanda no go wan kpai themselves 🤣🤣

omo forget ooo that 3 points can play a huge huge huge role ooo🤣🤣

Okan Buruk:

All of my players take the field ready to give everything whenever they can play. Osimhen has that same character, but since playing in pain without being able to give 100% would help neither him nor us, we will rest him for this match.

Okan Buruk:

We had planned to have Osimhen ready for this match, but in the last two training sessions he tried, and his feedback was that he is not at a level to play right now.

Every one of my players, whenever they have a chance to play, will do whatever it takes to be on the pitch. Osimhen is that kind of player too, but since playing with pain and not being able to give 100% would not benefit him or us, based on his feedback we decided not to include him in the squad.

Finally
omo if them deduct that 3point and SA drops to 14pts it will hand a huge lifeline to:
-Benin to win Rwanda next month and move to 17pts to top the group
-Rwanda to beat Benin and move to 14pts leveling with Benin
- Nigeria to beat Lesotho and move to 14pts to level up with Rwanda(if they win Benin)….

Make fifa make this drama happen, if we must jah,let it be on match day 10🤣🤣

Morocco in the time of Mustapha Hadji ranked 10th in the world in 1998? Damn.

But Nigeria's 5th place FIFA world ranking in 94/95 will probably never be topped by any other African team.

Meanwhile Senegal's consistency in that Top 20 since 2021/22 or even earlier na wa ooo. In the last five yrs, their lowest rank was 22nd for a while in 2021 but they ended the year as 20th. Consistency.

I understand the other bid competition is India using one of their cities, Ahmedabad.

India should take this unless....

I won’t focus on YAK’s South Korea miss and ignore his valid point. The Super Eagles’ midfield lacks creativity badly. Bench Iwobi, Ndidi, and Moses, and we are good to go.

My Suggested Lineup:

Nwabali
Agu – Benjamin – Bassey – Onyemechi
Onyedika – Onyeka
Chukwueze – Uche – Lookman
Osimhen

Agu comes in for the injured Aina. Chelle must not make mistake of using Osayi as Rb. The Iwobi–Ndidi combination has produced nothing, no shots, no take-ons, just passing the ball around. Low-blocking teams have exposed their deficiencies. Moses Simon needs to sit on the bench , enough playing Lookman out of position. Let him come in as a sub.

nah i dont agree with him. We miss way too much chances for creativity to be our problem. How many more chances will the team create for the strikers that we will note that our real problem is scoring the goals not creating them.

If those 3, points are deducted
Zimbabwe vs South Africa
How I wish Zimbabwe can just for once be useful and hold SA to a 0-0 draw
I know Rwanda will be hard for them

I see your angle but the fact that we manage to find some chances against the lesser teams like Lesotho, Rwanda and Zimbabwe doesn't erase the problem of creativity from the middle.

Our chance creation against lesser sides is expected coz of the quality team gap between Nigeria and these nations; so somehow, we will create chances. Now, what happens against the bigger sides?

The Yak has a point on us having more CDMs than actual AM/CAM profiles (truthfully we have none aside Iwobi who is made to play deeper). Also, how many clear cut chances did we really create vs South Africa in the last game? SA is not like the lesothos and Rwandas.

The point of us having a midfield creativity problem is still valid.

If FIFA deduct the 3 points from SA, they will have 14points plus 3 goals difference.
Remember they score 2 goals against lessotho in that match which we bw removed, plus the 3 goals for winning.

Or better outcome.

They lose to Zimbabwe/Rwanda. That way we can still qualify as top of the group.
