Phil Foden's assist for Haaland is an example of the kind of Creativity in tight spaces or marked spaces that I am talking about. Beautiful quick thinking and intelligent lofted pass into the space he expects Haaland's head to attack. A true "eye-thru-the-needle" lofted pass... it stirs me.

Charlesemeka85, you dey see how Rashford left your club and is shining bright at Barca tonight. Two goals and the second one was magical.

Rashford is reinventing himself at Barca. There is something "diabolically" wrong with Man Utd.

Iwobi wont "deeplie" or play centrally naa. Lol... he offend u before? 😂
Haha, yes of course. My issue with Iwobi is clear, he can’t shoot, offers nothing in 2v2s, can't shield the ball, always in a haste to pass sideways and doesn’t mark or press.

This news looks fake
Before nko,
You don't need to finish the second paragraph to know.

It's a trend now on Facebook.
They will just look for two popular celebrities that has little spat in the past and they will ask AI to fabricate offensive words against each other.
Mostly used by unknown bloggers for engagements and traffic

You yourself aren’t being objective.

I’m not on the Gala hype train, they likely won’t cut it with UCL, but saying Gala would be relegated from the EPL is absurd na.

Some of them will walk into many EPL mid table squads only if they could afford their wages.
The Frankfurt that flogged them 5-1 today will get whipped by mid table EPL clubs like Crystal Palace (who are 15 games unbeaten in England) and Bournemouth with Semenyo and Iraola.

Gala gets relegated in the EPL. I watched them the whole of last season. Take it anywhere.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by drDoom3(m): 10:50pm On Sep 18, 2025
This is the same Frankfurt that got booted out of the Europa league by the 17th placed team in the Prem last season. And that was with Ekitike.

Now they are arguably worse. Wahi is nowhere near Ekitike levels. And still obliterated Gala.

There are levels to this game.

This will be thrilling!!

It will be all to fight for on the last match day

Ọkan everybody o ni ba lẹ 😂
minfelix:
omo if them deduct that 3point and SA drops to 14pts it will hand a huge lifeline to:
-Benin to win Rwanda next month and move to 17pts to top the group
-Rwanda to beat Benin and move to 14pts leveling with Benin
- Nigeria to beat Lesotho and move to 14pts to level up with Rwanda(if they win Benin)….

Make fifa make this drama happen, if we must jah,let it be on match day 10🤣🤣

It will be nice for Caf to adopt this ucl league format. It will sharpen attack focus per team. Reduce all this home and away gbasgbos. Plus all these qualifying stuff dey pain head abeg. Expand the tournament.

Osayi is the man to step in if Aina is not available and against South Africa he gave us that needed assist, all we need is who deputize for him
No. It was not Osayi that gave the assist. It was Dele Bashiru. Osayi gave the pre-assist.

This video summarises how traumatized we were in 2006. Everything was wrong.
1) Our stars choosing match to play.
2) more than one coach during the qualifier.
3) ineptitude of NFF and Ignorance of rule by NFF.

Same ignorance of rule cqsu do us to miss 2012 Nations cup. How a football body that want to participate in a tournament doesn't know the rules is baffling.

I bet NFF doesn't know that they had the power to protest the Bloemfontein stadium in last match. I can bet too they didn't inspect the stadium before hand.

2026! We are there again. No lessons learnt.
That pitch finish our players

TheSuperNerd:
I see your angle but the fact that we manage to find some chances against the lesser teams like Lesotho, Rwanda and Zimbabwe doesn't erase the problem of creativity from the middle.

Our chance creation against lesser sides is expected coz of the quality team gap between Nigeria and these nations; so somehow, we will create chances. Now, what happens against the bigger sides?

The Yak has a point on us having more CDMs than actual AM/CAM profiles (truthfully we have none aside Iwobi who is made to play deeper). Also, how many clear cut chances did we really create vs South Africa in the last game? SA is not like the lesothos and Rwandas.

The point of us having a midfield creativity problem is still valid.
We have an overload of DMs and still Iwobi is made to play as a DM and Onyedika struggles to tie down a position. Is this not jazz?

Pls I need clarity on this

How many points will be deducted from SA, since there currently on 17pts
-3 = 14pts
-6 = 11pts

Is this correct ? -3 for fielding illegible player, and another -3 that they initially won Lesotho everything is equal to -6pts nà

Is the above correct?
They will be deducted 0 points.

they are last in a group that has lesotho. I wont hold my breath.
SA hates them more then they even hate Nigeria ..that might be a motivation to them.. few days ago a pregnant Zim woman in labour room lost her baby becoz SA people barged into the hospital to chase non indigen patients out including her and it has caused more rift betwen them.
I heard its one of the reason they moved their home match away from preplanned SA pitch. So these may motivate them to hold SA to draw.

If FIFA deduct the 3 points from SA, they will have 14points plus 3 goals difference.
Remember they score 2 goals against lessotho in that match which we bw removed, plus the 3 goals for winning.
Its actually minus 3 goals.
It will be 3 nil awared to lesotho

I said this earlier here that I will prefer we get the home based players to play Benin. I won’t mind to see the South Africans cry for missing the World Cup. The ojoro from CAF is too much especially playing us on that potato pitch so am on this 💯
