Omoyele Sowere has once again shown that he indeed has deep psychological issues based off of the relentless disinformation he spreads via his online publication WITHOUT apologies to his readers, and the thoughtless insults he spews out of his mouth. This is a guy who confessed that he didn't study Journalism BUT he has violated a lot of laws regarding defamation. NO where in the world is their absolute freedom of speech and if you make verbal or written threats against an American President like that teenage British boy who sent a threat email to the then President Obama's email, the U.S. Intelligence agencies will have you picked up and that's what they did by contacting the British Intelligence agency to track the boy up.

Someone went to jail in France for attacking the French President in public, so, I wonder what gives some of these ignorant posters on Page 1 the audacity to think that you can get away with relentlessly defaming any world President or leader including the one in Nigeria? Ignorance of the law is NOT an excuse and Omoyele Sowere (who said in a short video I saw last year that he is Ijaw contrary to public beliefs) will have to provide EVIDENCE to back up his defamatory comments BUT I totally disagree with those who unwisely said he should be ignored. He has INFACT done a lot of damage to the publuc image of other people including the deliberate spread of disinformation online.

He and those pushing him on will learn some punishing lessons down the road.

But it was proved recently that this President used equally colourful language in describing a past President.

And this Minister in question is not exactly a gentleman when it comes to the art of a slur.

I think some folks view it as a case of what is good for the goose.

For if you interrogate it from the other side what you often get on these sorts of matters is a defense that goes like, 'well it was politics and Jagaban the maestro was strategizing into office'. But when the other side does it, it becomes issues of state security and national threat.

So if slurs are okay for certain people at certain levels democracy demands that it be okay for everyone. And we should all remember that Sowore too is a, or has been a Presidential candidate,, so perhaps is equally big enough to get away with such hideous behaviour.

I think our problem here is 'size comparison'. We see this man as being 'small' and unworthy of being rude .
