No one is even close.
He was known all over the world by people that didn't even have TV.
I saw him live in concert at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan in 1988.
He really didn't look as glamorous as he often look on TV and music videos.

He reserve his glitz and glamor for new York and la. Michigan he prolly didn't even shower for that show
