Na Yoruba church naaaa that's what it is and don't disturb papa for changing who he wants to change...

This protest makes no sense to me!

None of you know what informs the decision of the church's governing authorities. It's not for you to complain because you do not have the privilege to choose your pastor.

Stay there and worship your God or simply switch if you're not comfortable with the one pastoring the church.

It's as simple as that.

This protest is not but clout chasing!

Those 5 pastors did not meet financial target!!!!! RCCG should continue to change them until they get a pastor who can exceed his tithe and offering targets

A huge joke this must be! The RCCG should simply close down that Parish! The protesting Parishioners can go and start a church of their own where they can do as pleases them. Bunch of misguided and rebellious folks after the order of Korah , Dothan and Abiram!! They are playing with fire and it will burn them all unless they repent quickly!

I'm a redeem member, I can categorically tell u that redeem has been high jack by church politics. Come to my parish in festac, the pastor have spent decades but they don't want to transfer him. Redeem church has lost her Glory na only eye service remain now.

Is the Pastor productive or not? Transfers sometimes are not done for doing sake. There's a parish in Ipaja, the pastor is rich, arrived the location as PIC Area. He's been there for over 25 years. His records are super. He has taken an area headquarters to provincial hqtrs. He's now the PICP. He has brought down every building and he said that he's building a cathedral. The parish runs four services on Sunday. The pastor is even a part time pastor.

Did the church gain or lose leaving him there for so long?

May be their Pastors were promoted to next office. I have RCCG Pastors in my office and estate.

I suspect this was exactly what happened.

The pastor that was just transferred is a big deal.
He is rich, he is committed, he is sound, he is everything you would want in a Pastor.

He just got transfered to this new Zone in September 2024 just after the last Convention in August.
Another Convention just finished in August this year.
So I am wondering how these guys are claiming they changed 5 Pastors in one year..

For the records, this same pastor has been seeing rapid growth in the last 2-3 years.
From being a parish pastor at Faithful God, Unity Estate Eneka, he was made an area pastor under the Pentecost Zone.
In less than a year he was made a zonal Pastor and moved to Wisdom Chapel, Court Estate Elimgbu.
While he was there , he was moved out in less than 1 year as soon as Wisdom Chapel became a Provincial Headquarters.

He was moved to this Showers of blessing Reumuokwurushi Pipeline which was an Area HQ, but now became a Zonal HQ Just as tbis pastor was moved there.

I am very Sure, he has been promoted again , most likely to An Assistant Provincial Pastor.

Will this parish shouting about the change of 5 Pastors in one year(which is outrightly false) stop the promotion of the pastor, just because they like him?

Pastor Obiorah is moving to a greater height, and none of them can stop that move.

They should come to terms with the reality.

Babe that claim in itself is false.
The pastor was moved to that church last year just after the convention in August.

Another Convention just finished this year August and they moved him in September, please how does that equate changing 5 Pastors in 1 year.

You don't seem to understand that in the circumstances you described it is best in prayers to leave the matter to God who owns the church or leave and attend some other Parish or church. If you know God at all you will understand that it amounts to getting in His way to do what the Parishioners did and God takes no prisoners when it comes to such matters!! May you not go the way of Korah, Dothan and Abiram! Do I hear you say "Amen"!

The church he was moved from (showers of blessing zone) might not be happy, but heaven has to reward his labour of love.

My cousin that headed a redeem church at mowe, he called me to tell her was posted to Uyo.

As in, someone that was transferred from Delta to Ogun state, now St uyo.
