pls don't the 2006 set with this rubbish we are see. That team after the draw with Angola, showed commitment and belief, even went ahead to beat Algeria away. But what we are seeing now is anyhowness from the players and NFF

You're right but they won't be the want bantering us but ourselves. The we told you guys FC... They will surely come up with we told you sacking Rhor was the biggest football mistake of this century 😁😁
Eguaveon is better than Rohr.

Sacking Rohr was not the problem, the problem is with NFF, you dont sack coaches that has full knowledge of his team amidst the heat of qualifiers, at that period even a guardiola cant save us….if i were Eguavoen or any other coach, i wont take up that job, cos its just a big set up….
An upcoming play-off derby match looming and then you sacked a coach that has been handling the team for the past 6years to employ a miracle worker?
even if the coach na Eba….u for Just leave am to sink totally or save the team
Uzoho's error got us undone.

We practically had no midfield in the 2nd leg of that fixture. Eguaveon didn't lose any of those games.

Onyedika has what it takes to play the deep lying midfield role, thereby freeing Iwobi to concentrate on providing creativity in the final third. I have said this before, the SE can only get the best of Iwobi when he is played closer to the strikers than trying to get him drop deep and at the same time expect him to magically appear in the final third to provide creative passes.
Onyedika should be starting in a 3 man midfield consisting of Iwobi, Onyedika and Ndidi.
................Iwobi..........
Onyedika........Ndidi
I really don't know, but the Onyedika-Ndidi pivot was flat the last time it was tried under Peseiro.

You are thinking. I dont say this with hate but with utmost respect for Simon.

Simon currently will best serve us as an impact player off the bench. Trust me, it is just about that time. No sentiments here if we must break this limitation we have forced onto ourselves..
His place on the left can be taken by Iwobi. Thing is Iwobi can also orchestrate this way on the right. Simon must go to the bench. Coz Lookman is also there.
Maybe it is a cultural, social and psychological problem.
Basically, humans learn by social and cultural conditioning and when this conditioning is wrong, human find it difficult to change, adopt better practices or try better alternatives of forms of knowledge.
The issue is we have a pattern (4 4 2 or 4 2 4) or its variants handed down culturally and socially from the okocha era. We want to follow this pattern without considering if the players we have fit into this culturally and socially inherited pattern. We might be playing iwobi as a deep lying midfielder who can operate in even a 2 man midfield because he is okochas family member and so he has to play like okocha. Its similar to other positions. Until recently, our coaches will not try other alternatives apart from a 2 man midfield. We often hold on to the past and experienced players without thinking of their current form. Its taking chelle loosing points to see the limitations in Ekongs game. The best thing is to look at our players as they are not as their cultural forefathers are (ikpeba, siasia, okocha etc). We may need a younger generation of coaches and players to deactivate ourselves from our cultural and social conditioning. This is why younger players and coaches may work because they simply come with their own skills and patterns. they wont start trying to play like kanu, okocha etc. They will just be themselves.
I mean, it took a new generation for humans to agree that planes could fly (the wright brothers). This is why i think chelle can succeed as he is a relatively young man and he will not be bound by a certain cultural conditioning.

5 and 3 na big difference o.

NFF needs overhaul

Mujtahida:
Almost as many times as SE. From 2019 till now they've had 3 coaches. SE five.

According to this article, Zimbabwe has agreed to host RSA in Durban. If true, it means a win might have also been negotiated.

Benin should win Rwanda and negotiate with us.

Saw highlights of AC Milan victory over Udinese, I don’t think Okoye should have any problem getting his starting spot back when his suspension is over

Omo... Is it just me or Arokodare doesn't have good positioning?

And he doesn't press or "hustle" for the ball enough, he just seems to be strolling on the pitch most of the time.

I hope he gets better soon enough.
The EPL exposes your frailties...The sort of teams Asamoah Gyan was leading at Sunderland and scoring in the EPL. Or when Osase Odemwinge arrived from lille and was playing at West brom winning EPL player of the months twice in a season.
Tolu knew what he signed up for , we all knew it here that Wolves was bound for relegation.
Christantus Uche was smart enough to avoid them. This sort of risk it all approach to the EPL is not good for many. I hope he doesn't fall under the weight of the mounting pressure, because he looks like a soft and easy lad.
The same thing Paul Onuachu did when he went to Southampton. Only to find his foot at Turkey.

Iwobi didn't change his shooting style, just the place he takes them. Good for him.

Pep seems to always go Full Haram BALL vs Mikel Arteta.

If not for that Eberechi Eze super pass and Martinelli's sweet finish, Man City for use haram ball collect 3 pts. Chaaaiii... Pep must have contacted Elyte89 on his haram route one tactical book. It is obvious.
