Fast response is what we need from the men in black. Good job NPF. Can't he just rob in peace without resorting to hurting the person? Haba? |

All the way from Akwa Ibom to come and rub in Lagos. Heard the Gold chain is worth #40 million and that’s probably why extra resources that ensured its recovery had to be put in place. But how do you put 40million chain on your neck too? What business does this Obama? |

Nigerian Police can deliver results if they want to. Most criminals that go scot free are being shielded by politicians. |

Hmmmm. With all his appellations, why was he given 6 years? If the murder charge was proven, he should be on death row or permanently locked away? If it wasnt proven, why put it on an official communication? |

Rilwayne001:When I said it some people went critical on me that shey he shouldn’t enjoy his life ni. That I am his enemy and questioned which part of the body he is expected to wear it. Whereas I am not against anybody wearing N40m or 1 billion naira chain but the environment a person should wear it matters. He wore it and when the robber came shooting at him he initially refused to surrender it and instead started running around like an headless chicken. It was surprising that he finally surrendered it after the criminal had him shot. Most of this hardened criminals after serving their jail term they just release them to the society without deradicalizing them and they become burdens to society |

This is impressive ...that's why it is always good to have a CCTV in your facility even if the government doesn't provide in the streets they should make it mandatory for every facility to have a CCTV |

Good Job from the NPF, so they can later arrest this idiot rubbing in broad day light. |
| Re: Lagos Police Arrest Man Who Robbed Gbenga Obama In Broad Daylight by cyberbro: 6:32am On Sep 21, 2025 |
The NPF did well, although the CCTV evidence made a huge impact. This is why homes and businesses must have CCTVs. Even if it won't stop a crime, it would help nab the perpetrators after they commit the crime. |

What kind of vocation is the victim into that he is donning a 40million naira necklace, again how can a convicted armed robber that's acknowledged to be extremely dangerous be set free just after six years, isn't that a question mark on the entire Nigerian criminal justice system? |
| Re: Lagos Police Arrest Man Who Robbed Gbenga Obama In Broad Daylight by Ulunne777(f): 6:41am On Sep 21, 2025 |
Then NCS should go back to their former nomenclature. This Samuel didn't receive any corrections |

OP... You mean he was sentenced to 6yrs for a capital offence? "John Samuel, an ex-convict, is vicious and notorious for armed robbery, assassination, and murder of some of his victims. He was released recently after serving a six-year jail term for capital offence of armed robbery" [quote author=Lanrelagboi post=136868669]Previousthread: https://www.nairaland.com/8502935/cctv-captures-gbenga-obama-robbed ] |
