Yari Family Expresses Gratitude After Son’s Wedding in Kaduna

The family of Kayayen Mafara Yari Abublakar has extended heartfelt appreciation to dignitaries, friends, and well-wishers who graced the wedding of their son, Nasirudeen Abdul’aziz Yari, and his bride, Safiya Shehu Idris, held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Sultan Bello Mosque in Kaduna.

In a goodwill message, the family said it was profoundly honored by the presence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose attendance, alongside senior government officials, lent immense prestige to the occasion.

Special appreciation was also conveyed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House of Representatives Speaker Tajuddeen Abbas, serving and former governors, ministers, legislators, business leaders, traditional rulers, and clerics from across Nigeria and beyond. Their presence, the family noted, was a testament to enduring friendship, national unity, and goodwill.

“We remain grateful to our cherished friends, family members, and the general public whose prayers, warmth, and joyful spirit made this day truly unforgettable,” the statement read.

The message was jointly signed by prominent family members and associates including H.E. Mukhtar Shehu Idris (Kogunan Gusau), Engr. Abdullah Abdulkarim Tsafe, PhD (Katukan Tsafe), Alhaji Jafar Abubakar Yari, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu (Zannan Bungudu), Alhaji Adamu Ahmed Mohammed, Alhaji Sa’adu Faruk Muhammad, Alhaji Kabiru Mohammed Kamba, Hajia Balkisu Saidu, Alhaji Shehu Sani, Hajia Juwairat Abubakar, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Muhammad, Alhaji Aliyu Yahaya Yari, Mr. Akan Daniel Japhet, Mrs. Agbanowo Vestal Chinasom, and Miss Obaja Anuoluwa Esther.
