Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has reaffirmed that he remains at peace with his principal, insisting both of them are working together in the interest of the state, News360 Nigeria reports.

Speaking after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the governor explained that his visit was to formally brief the President on the lifting of his suspension and his resumption of duties on September 19.

He also emphasised that the peace restored in Rivers State among political leaders is genuine, and the reconciliation is real.

Governor Fubara disclosed that President Tinubu offered him counsel on leadership and governance, assuring the people of Rivers that his administration remains focused on stability and service delivery.

His visit comes days after President Tinubu lifted the state of emergency in Rivers, last week which had been in place since March 18, 20

Back then when Fubara crossed swords with Wike and demolished the Rivers State House of Assembly I told them here it would end up this way but they wouldn’t listen and urged him on to his political ruination. Ingratitude is a very bad thing and brings shame and loss of integrity to the individual. Okay for him to retrace his steps and stop listening to the personal enemies of Wike intent on using him to get at Wike. All is well that ends well for Fubara whose Sim lost signal before but is now back on the network!

Politics isn't for the weak abeg.
