Abi you don't know before insurance policy is issued, safety audit would have taken place? It is just like saying kabo air aircraft crashes, you then said late Dan kabo should pay up as if he personally crashed the aircraft.

yes kabo Airlines will pay compensation and more if they crash their planes. it is the law.

I hope after this terrible tragedy we can prepare better for emergencies including having neccessary evacuation equipment for tall buildings.

How does a fire from concrete basement spread to several floor upward the tower?

The blaze, which started in the inverter room located in the basement, also claimed four lives from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

Mostly young ladies in their prime with promising careers. They left their homes that faithful day to earn a living and never returned.

May their souls rest in peace. May God give their family, friends and associates the fortitude to hear this loss.

These lithium batteries eh.
Saw the video of a fire at a battery factory somewhere in Asia.

In a matter of seconds the building was totally engulfed. It took almost a whole day to put it out.

In other parts of the world once firefighters know it is lithium related they don't send firefighters into the building. They just let it burn out.

The building doesn't belong to UBA and the pictures they just showed now is not the one of UBA staffs but another company's staffs.

Just to put you straight! The building is own by AFRILAND, and they're many companies as tenants inside including UBA bank who I guess also have one or two of staffs dead.
So tell me after everything I explained here now, how is it Mr Elumelu's fault

COMRADES, honestly, I wasn't able to watch the video of that ugly incident. I feel bad for them, I think I'll advise that, building engineers should start taking emergency exit seriously in their building plan hence forth

I think it's even possible to have an inbuilt fire resistance room where people can easily run into in such emergency fire situations in a high rise building like that.
