September
Les vs SA (in SA)
SA vs Nig (in SA)

October
Zim vs SA (in SA)
SA vs Rwa(in SA)
so the last time SA traveled out of their region to play worldcup qualifiers was in June🤣🤣🤣….omo see flexing and soft life naaaa🤣….let say SA was rooted to the bottom of this group in June with like 4 or 5points, walai this 4 home advantage matches should be enough to bounce them to the top or second with a possibility of 10 or 12pts

all i can say is NA WA OOOOOOOO
we are just an anyhow kind of people...

Normally, heads suppose to roll for this abysmal world cup qualifications... Rwanda, Lesotho, Zimbabwe in our group and we still ended drawing 5 games. Using 3 different set of coaches... That means the head (nff) is not working well...

To the issue of South Africa. Although I have no single love I can spare for them, but nothing consine them for our matter. Na we just use our hand gift them qualifications...

Even in the grassroots here in Mushin, there's a female u15 competition being hosted and the coach of a certain Nakamura Fc refused blatantly to have his girls play a match at the home ground of an opponent.

It almost turned to chaos, but the man was adamant, reschedule the match for later or no match.. Apparently there was a party on the competition ground (walimot ceremony)

This is what Nff should have done, to cushion the effect of the undue advantage South Africa got in the qualifications. They are largely homebased(no player travels, no jetlag, no tiredness, no leg cramp) still played almost all matches at home...

We must be a mumu giant to have allowed that, without even one objection. As usual we just leave everything to Insha Allah.

Definitely, somebody or an office in the nff didn't cross their T's. Didn't bother to check anything, also no repercussions so far. No head rolling, no query, we move on as usual.

Naija levels sometimes 🤦🤦

Only 3 away games realistically.
Loss, Draw and Win against Rwanda, Nigeria and Benin respectively.
in 10 fixtures they were only able to travel out of their region in 3matches🤣🤣
Nig 1-1 SA (Uyo Nigeria)
Rwa 2-0 SA(Butare Rwanda)
Ben 0-2 SA(Ebimpe CIV)
omo one again na wa oo 🤣
they only faced the real fans in 9ja and Rwanda and took only 1point…im sure they would have struggled against Benin infront of the real Beninoise…..omo FIFA andCAF should kukuma suspend any nation without a standard stadium….what are you going to do at the world cup if you dont have stadium in your country

Point of correction. The NFF never chased Pesiero. It was after his team peaked during AFCON that he wanted a better offer. Should Pesiero have continued and not Finidi, we probably might have not found ourselves in this position even though he started with two draws. He found a team or discovered a team with the right tempo to grind out victories. He was also unknown to us when the NFF technical team brought him to us after the reign of Rohr.
Put this same boys under Chelle for two weeks and see if they will not reach another AFCON semifinals in the least sense. There is a dearth of technicality in our local managers. Eguavone in his last stint couldn't get to the semifinals of the AFCON even though his team played good football at the group stage, especially our one nil victory over Egypt who ended up in the finals only to lose to Senegal on penalty.

Let's forget all this stress and tension. Let's look forward to growing with Chelle as AFCON progresses and one thing we can be sure of is that we have a manager who will stay longer than Rohr and is quite younger than Rohr to do exploits with our team. Even when it's time for a new agreement it will not be as difficult as it was to convince Rohr. We the fans have to exercise patience.

Goke7:
But it was agreed here that we played rubbish in the AFCON, or were we that good? cos if I remember very well, that's why we chased Paseiro away, that our players were too good and world-class to be playing haram football. We need to put things in proper perspective, cos am one of those who still feel we ruined it all with the poor management of the Afcon success. Some tactics worked well for us that we just needed to build upon, but hey, we threw everything away in arrogance.

Multiple caps Super Eagles Winger, Samuel Kalu joins Botev Plovdiv of Bulgaria as a free agent. Was unveiled yesterday.
The Nigerian league should aim a bit better to have players like his status return or play in a league club. Imagine this guy on the bench for Remo stars as they play CAF CL . It will create an upward effect on the players like Ngenge and the rest. Not when we are having Ismaila the RB leaving Remo to an obscure league

We should be doing better, Benin republic should be playing their home games in Nigeria and not far away in ivory coast. They might both be francophone but that's where the advantage ends. However with Nigeria they share borders as well as cultural heritage. Why isn't Nigeria attractive enough for them. Why can we fix our Lagos stadium for them? Aren't we attractive enough for them. Despite how hostile south Africans are to other Africans , yet Lesotho , Zimbabwe etc play their home games there. And they are all in the same qualifiers group. Tomorrow it might be Niger, Chad , Cameroon, Togo or even Ghana. We should put ourselves up there for this situations. Fix Lagos stadiums now! And they will come.

They are bidding to host the common wealth games for Abuja, leave that and host the women's AFCON. It's a smaller project and less expensive and it improve a whole lot. But more importantly fix this surulere stadium.

We will always come back to conversations like this until we change our behaviour and approach whenever the senior national team does well. It's becoming a trend that when they do well, people start throwing all sorts of tantrums to discredit the coaching crew who sweat it out to grind out results. It took govt backing for Keshi to lead the team to the World Cup despite qualifying and winning the AFCON, as the NFF, journalists, and their fellow saboteurs wanted a foreign coach at all costs.

Today, we are on the verge of not qualifying, and all the gladiators are quiet cos there is no coach to discredit. Just wait for Chelle to do wonders, and you'll see all of them out once more. If Chelle mistakenly qualifies for the World Cup, they will be back to tell us he doesn't have what it takes to do well at the mundial.

Chelle is really doing a good job….if super eagles keeps this their recent sense of urgency which is appearing to be late as regarding world cup qualifiers, Teams like Tanzania,Uganda even Tunisia will smell pepper against us….
Rwanda 0-2 Nigeria
Nigeria 1-1 Zimbabwe
Nigeria 2-1 Ghana(derby match)
Nigeria 2-2 Jamaica
Russia 1-1 Nigeria
Nigeria 1-0 Rwanda
SA 1-1 Nigeria
7 serious games still remain unbeaten
