Dottune:
I think in your cover letter, you should acknowledge your previous issuance and explain the reason why you did not use at the time, so that you can present a case as to why you'll use it this time and assure them that you'll travel.

I was, you just have to keep trying until it is successful. The only time I was able to successfully book was in the midnight.
Was this recently? I mean the time you made this booking?

Marcgrace:
Hello@Dottune

The four times I have reapplied, I have written a separate cover letter specifically addressing the previous visa and explaining why I wasn't able to use it.
The reason for refusal remains the same, "There are reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory of the Member states before the visa expires.".
I can tell you that these refusals were not due to insufficient evidence or a lack of submitted documents.
Oh, apologies for assuming then. Looks like the they weren't so pleased you didn't travel.

This was in mid-August.

Alright. I asked because I tried both midnight and early morning but nothing changed.

I had earlier gone for the appointment but couldn't proceed to submit because the embassy requested for a specific document which I had but not signed. So I couldn't proceed. But now, I have the document signed and ready only to experience this again. In August, I remembered encountering similar issue but not as severe as this.

Good day my people, please I had my first Schengen visa in 2009, which is the Netherlands, but since then I haven’t applied for another, now I want to apply for one, is it advisable to apply to the same Netherlands because I have been there before or apply to France , please advice, also please how much is advisable to have in my account, is 15m okay for a 7 days trip or I need more? Is a micro finance bank statement accepted? One last question please, my husband and I own a hotel as our names are in the CAC as owners, must I submit the company account?, because I plan to submit only my company account, thank you so much as I anticipate your answers

I am still unable to book my appointment on TLSContact website.

When I get to the stage of selecting the appointment time, I get stuck. Can't move forward and the error has always been the same (see the attached image).

Is there anyone experiencing this? I tried to create a new account but I discovered that it flags my passport number - that it already exists.

I don't know if I will get the same message if I use Lagos TLSContact.

Dates are likely not available. Go to Nov/Dec and select.

No, dates come out, but after selection, it doesn't move to the next stage. Last night, I woke up to check only to not find my application again. Got deleted.

I tried to initiate a new one but it says my passport and visa reference is linked to another group. Yet I can't find the group.

It's just getting complex

Hello house, France just refused my Conference visa application on ground that according to them that they doubt if I will leave the member state if my visa expired.

Now I don't want to wait longer, I want to apply for Lithuania🇱🇹, and this same France is handling it in Lagos.. Hope it won't have any effect?

Good Morning Bosses in the house,

For those who submitted their applications recently, please what's the average number of weeks it takes to process France visa now? I want to submit tomorrow 23rd September and I have a planned trip to somewhere in the world by October 22nd, I want to be sure my visa would be ready by then before submission, else I should just hold on to my passport.

Thanks, response will be appreciated.

Update

This morning I was able to submit this application and booked an appointment for tomorrow. I think their portal has issues especially for Abuja applicants.

Additionally, I learned through the security guard I took his number at the TLS Office that applications that are up to 15 days without appointment date are deleted automatically. That explains why I couldn't find my application on Saturday morning.

Thank you for your support guys. Hoping for a smooth process going forward.

Abuja is faster, you can get a response within one week. For Lagos, it can get up to 20 working days.

Hi,

France handles Netherlands visas for Nigeria. The question would be- which of the 2 destinations best suits your travel goals for 2025?

As for your account balance, 15m is more than enough to show you can comfortably cover a 7-day trip. What would be useful is for you to create a budget for your travel dates. Take into account flight, accommodation, feeding, local transportation.

Since you have your own company with a solid account balance, the jointly-owned hotel is a cherry on the cake. If it has a good bank statement, you can choose to submit it alongside your own company account.

All the best with your application!

Guys, if your visa gets rejected, always endeavor to appeal before reapplying. Atleast, to clear whatever misgivings.
Goodluck.

Gurus in the house, please assist.
I have a remote job and i get paid directly to my dorm account, in light of the tax restructure, the advice is to register and use my company account as companies have a N50m non-taxable annual threshold, my question is, would this affect my application as my contract letter and payslips are in my name? i cant meet the company to draft a new contract in my company's name, would this be an issue? or would a cover letter be sufficient to explain it?

Thanks in advance

Hi guys ! Please I need your input.. Travel date is December 20 . I chose Lagos as a center of submission but the earliest date I'm seeing is December 1 . How do I change to Abuja ? While filling the form, I also chose Lagos to submit.

In your offer letter, were you offered the remote job as a full-time staff or a contractor?

Sorry, did you get a date this month, i am getting late October and early November.
I got an appointment in August and that's probably because I was classified as a frequent traveler.
The trick one of my colleagues used in the past as a first time traveller was to check in the midnight, sometimes people reschedule from their earlier date to a later date, so that makes some earlier slots available.
