Some news outlets are either dumb, ignorant or simply mischievous.

There was nowhere in the judgement of the Federal High Court, Abuja that "ruled" that the six months suspension was excessive and unconstitutional but merely an expression of the "opinion" the trail judge.

"Ruling" is definitive and enforceable while "opinion" is not definitive and not legally binding.

That's why Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan had to file an appeal against the said judgment.

Abi person wey win case dey take appeal?

What most of her supporters seem to forget is that the Senate and the Office of the Senate President are quite distinct entities from the human persons currently presiding over affairs.

The appeal would lay bare who's right or wrong.
