In Nigeria, a majority of these women cling to religion in hopes that one day— though for most that day never comes —their magic god would magically cause a man who literally hates them to suddenly change his mind about them to show them love.

How are humans unpredictable? Least of all men? It has been often said severally that men are polygamous by nature. No matter how pretty and well behaved your wife is, you just want to play away match once a while to lighten things up. It doesn't mean that you don't love your wife, it's how men are wired. I'm not talking about the ones who never chop belle full o.

We were discussing at work one day and I raised this point. See how the unmarried and naive ladies opposed me vehemently. They were like; there are lots of faithful and God fearing men outside. Me I kukuma no argue nau.

Some days later, one by one, they begin confess all the bad things their husbands have done at one point or another. Laugh wan kee me. How men wan take faithful nau, with all the big big bakassi wey full outside?

The last time I checked, I don't think I've ever cried about any DNA test. Meself know sey my hand no clean, hence, I no dey put my hand outside make everybody see am.

However, if you ask my wife what kind of man her husband is; she'll tell you that he's a responsible husband & father. Isn't that enough compliment? Abeg leave DNA matter for people wey dey find wetin no loss.

Meanwhile, the concept of women being cheats isn't anything new nau. It's these small boys who weren't close to their father whilst growing up that don't know. My dad once told me that in the olden days, a man who has several wives never returns from a journey unannounced. He knows for a fact that some of the women may be knacking different dudes. Hence, whenever he's coming home, he'll hire a band of singers to be singing his praises from afar. So that the news of his arrival would have reached all his wives and everybody go comot body for whatever nonsense they are doing at the moment. As long as he doesn't see anything, life goes on.
