Now I realized some things are beyond our control. Maybe it's the country, maybe it's the people themselves or maybe it's the opportunities that that are scarce, or maybe you have to beat the law to become successful.
I am starting to believe no one has ever become successful by following the laws of land.

same here, I always assumed everything was in my control. Life is crazy unscripted you can't predict anything. Humans are just deceiving themselves. To make the matter worse there is death and no one, no single soul knows in what land or time its is going to find it. And one thing is for certain it will meet us all at some point.

This is some of the reasons why some of us go crazy with complaints. These recklessness and high-handedness are both on the parts of the Government and the Citizens. Why would any normal human being drive in the dark without headlamps?
Nigerians find it very convenient to break the law because they know nothing will happen afterwards.
Some drivers will ply one-way roads on high speed and kill people in the process. Unnecessary loss of human lives. A life lost can never be revived, why do we act reckless on our own part and we want to blame Government for everything.

If I am correct, the best you could do for him now is to immediately reduce your grief and start thinking logically. Because life after death is real, very real!

First thing first, after the burial, let them start getting across to his contacts, Whatsapp, banks and co. Check if he's owing anyone or any entity. That should be your first priority. Do a comprehensive check on this please. If he's owing be committed to paying it off for him. Either from his money or look for a way. If he's not owing, that's one big relief.

Secondly, tell Dad and other to immediately organize prayers for him. Prioritize the following:

—Suratul Ikhlas,
—Suratul Mulk
—Suratul Yasin

Then others should also follow. On your own too, seek forgiveness for him as much as you can.

Third do charity on his behalf either communal based ones like portable water, or so. If you are not that buoyant, please do smaller one like food donations, money (no matter how little, to his credit).

Do this as frequently as you can. Faith is very important here because, we know that the earth is not the only plane of existence. As a matter of fact, earth is like 0.01, the 99.99 of our existence is otherworldly. And a day is coming where we'll definitely see our loved ones again. But seeing them in a good station is of high-priority.

And if he's not a Muslim, the best to honor his memory by through charity, no matter how little.

My deepest, deepest fear is the loss of a loved one. The thought alone always makes my heart quail in horror.

My sincerest condolences. I know how I cried when I lost two of my very dear friends in a space of two years, so the thought of a family member dying unexpectedly is just unimaginable. Lord.

This is my fear every morning when I wake. That I may not make it back. Home. But after praying and reading the bible I usually feel relieved because somethings aren't in my control and worrying about them can't help, I just have to let God handle them .
I'm someone that worries a lot . But lately I've been putting that on God when I discovered I'm nearing having high blood pressure

Loss of a relative is the most painful thing one can experience. I have lost some and I know the grief it carries. I try not to remember them for my own peace.

It may not be easy for one to make it big in Nigeria if one lives holily and righteously, like not giving bribes, not slandering other people, telling lies, changing figures, stealing public and company funds, colluding with contractors and employees, etc. It will be only by GOD'S Grace and Mercies will one who lives to please GOD Almighty make it big in Nigeria.

That's why for the righteous, the believer, the Bible says:
