Guys ! Please which center has the earliest date ? Lagos or ABUJA ? And if I've created TLS profile and chose Lagos as my place of submission.. Can I possibly change it to Abuja ? How do I go about it please ?
ANy help with this please?

I've also tried to create another application and choose Abuja location but it didn't work.. Visa reference invalid and says phone number already used for another application. I'd appreciate any input on this , please .

Hello Guys,
Please can someone quickly confirm the amount to be paid at Lagos Tls upon submission for a tourist visa.
Appointment has been booked, Please respond quickly anyone?

Dottune:
I got an appointment in August and that's probably because I was classified as a frequent traveler.
The trick one of my colleagues used in the past as a first time traveller was to check in the midnight, sometimes people reschedule from their earlier date to a later date, so that makes some earlier slots available.
Okay thank you!

In my introduction letter do I need to declare that I was refused Schengen visa last year since this type of question was not ask in the France visa application form?

Yes, to do this, you have to delete the application made for Lagos. Once you delete it, then you will be able to apply for Abuja. If you have submitted that of Lagos, then it's not possible to delete it again, you will have to wait for 15 days post creation date when it will be automatically deleted from their system.

I submitted my document on Tuesday, I made the booking on Monday. I think you can get a next day appointment in Abuja except if things have changed.
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by hemekhar(m): 5:30pm On Sep 25, 2025
I was offered as a contractor
Dottune:
In your offer letter, were you offered the remote job as a full-time staff or a contractor?
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by jmoore(m): 5:58pm On Sep 25, 2025
hemekhar:
Gurus in the house, please assist.
I have a remote job and i get paid directly to my dorm account, in light of the tax restructure, the advice is to register and use my company account as companies have a N50m non-taxable annual threshold, my question is, would this affect my application as my contract letter and payslips are in my name? i cant meet the company to draft a new contract in my company's name, would this be an issue? or would a cover letter be sufficient to explain it?

Thanks in advance
Any discrepancy is a recipe for denial.

Thanks.

I submitted the following documents for a research visa:

1. Admission Letter
2. Research Agreement
3. Convention D'Accueil. This is same as (2) above only that this agreement is a form from the embassy. It will be signed by the researcher and the school representative
4. Proof of funding
5. Award Letter
6. Proof of Accommodation (This was an attestation because I don't yet have an accommodation)
7. Insurance (Three months)
8. Flight reservation
9. Motivation Letter
10. Access to the lab. This for me was important even though with or without it, the outcome would have been the same.
11. Evidence of CVEC enrolment.

Basically, I added every document that I have. Didn't want to give room for "had it been I added this or that."

I would suggest you do, because they have access to that information, you can highlight it and tell them to look at your current application based on its merit and not on your previous refusals.

My bad..

Sorry, I missed this, thanks dotman
Well, hmmm. In my opine, I really do not think point of application matters, it's only that it can be a bit fast if you apply from Abuja like I mean processing time. This is why many usually opt for Abuja.

Unlike lagos.

We wish him well. That is a major visa he attained because it is for highly skilled persons.

Another Isaac Newton , would be Albert Einstein in the making . Cc @mrphysics

Lagos according to stats has always been like that. It could also be a strategy for some persons, the work load somewhat affect visa outcomes. It is best to go somewhere with lesser traffic.

It is all about calculations too. Mr Physics won again. 🏆

African countries are not A list countries that count as travel experience.

Unfortunately, you can't even do Qatar now

I don't think the emboldened is true. If you are going for a PhD, you can apply for the Talent - Research Visa. The difference with the student visa is that with this visa type, your family can join you without needing much documents and they can work if they are above 18 years.

Additionally, you'd be given an initial 3 months visa. When you arrive in France (within the 3 months), you will apply for a resident permit and you will be given a 3 years visa. This way, you won't need constant yearly visa renewal.

Most research is treated as work, and you will sign an agreement with the lab/school that would be hosting you - contract/research agreement.

Lastly, I have a scholarship, that also helped. There's nothing special about me bro.
