Are you saying you don't give tips as well, for instance a sales attendant who works in a restaurant.
I give because I want to, not because the person asked. With what I have read about the tipping culture in the US, I would have a big problem living there. I have worked in the hospitality industry, and my focus has always been the customer's satisfaction, not on being tipped. If you tip me, obviously, I would collect, but it should be strictly voluntary.
Also, I don't believe in free money. I believe people should work for their money. The free money culture has enabled entitlement amongst our people. One of the reasons I support the removal of the subsidy and the new tax regime by Tinubu. Our people have to work for their money and manage it properly.

No free lunch.

I really dislike people that can't have a simple sensible conversation without looking for a way to sneak politics into it. These guys are not the first to lose an election. They should move on already. Not like their candidate understands the job even if given the chance
Enough of this non sense!
Your people wailed and protested until they were able to push GEJ out
Why should it be different now that your kinsman is there huh

Begging is a very bad addiction, though nothing bad in giving out to the needys in this surgery economy situation , but feeling entitled and addicted is a worsted desease.

Please be specific when you make generalisations like this. Begging is specific to certain regions. There's a region where grown men over 2 million of them littered across the streets. Begging in the name of tuale oga mi, waiting for fine cars to pass. That is how a criminal drug lord was able to enslave all of them. Because they love begging.
Don't you have Ndi Ayiyo in your small region?
In Nnewi, beggars full there.
Or, is it not in Enugu that Mbah used jollof rice and okpa to win election?

Begging in Nigeria is like a full time job. You see those ones in the Federal Secretariats spread across Nigeria, can beg without shame.
I don't know which is worse between Nigerian Police and Immigration.
Immigration is the most shocking because I give them a little level of respect but the way they beg even at Airports is very shocking and embarrassing. They can do better.

This thing is super annoying. I hardly leave home because of it and stay intentional regarding places I visit to avoid it. I now stay quiet whenever people beg. Many where I live made it a hustle. They know the worst you can say is no. Men are not as brutal as women when rejecting someone. Silence to me means I won’t waste energy on an irritant.

Me na that Union bank security guy whenever I go to withdraw some change. It's so annoying that I just blatantly ignore him. Which one is "Boss withdraw plenty o and show your boy love". Humans and entitlement, it's so annoying.

You need to see the way one woman was shouting daddy daddy from about 6 houses away, I was about to open gate to drive out and I didn't think she was referring to me. Only for her to catch up with me as I was driving out and she was still shouting daddy daddy then she came to my door to beg. It was embarrassing. I asked her was that why she was shouting, I didn't even wait for response before I zoomed off.
