Nairalander248:I know you must defend criminals as long as you’re from that “REGION” and pretend as if “Fake Alerts” is new in Nigeria. No! They are not scamming people with Fake Transfers. It is the Mobile Banking Apps that are scamming people. |

Saturnalia:You know? Do you know where I am from or you just made assumption? In this era of instant transfer alert ? And he allow the person he don't know to go without funds settling in his account? |

Saturnalia:Try to have some sense. Fake alerts have been in existence for over a decade, you should have enough sense to not depend on only sender's alert. The op said he was in a hurry and didn't bother to confirm from app or email, where has that rush taken him to now? It has brought him to NL to lament his loss. While it's pitiable what happened to him, it never should have happened, you should have enough common sense to confirm your payment before releasing goods |

Olodonairaland:Next time take him to any pos around and let him use either his card or transfer to the pos person, then just pay charges yourself to be on the safer hand and collect your money from the pos. When I sold my tecno this is exactly what I did it's not about trust it's survival, there's nothing like that in business use your head. So sorry for your loss okay those idiots will definitely meet their Waterloo somewhere else. |

@Op you dull oh fake transfer in 2025? If you like show me your payment receipt, or let my alert drop in. If I can't see my balance update on my banks app, I'm not releasing that device. How can you be in a hurry, in such a financial transaction? Truly humans are the weakest link. |
