The only way to open up this Norwegian defense is only if they can be quicker in their transition. Or through dead ball. If they continue with this aimless slow passes, Norway will catch them flatfooted soon.

They don't play with the same tenacity as players who want to play in the World Cup.
If they fail in their quest to qualify for the World Cup, they should blame themselves.
They don't even play like professionals.

I recall that in the qualification series for the 2006 World Cup, our players turned up after the 1-0 loss to Angola and went on to defeat Algeria in Algiers and Zimbabwe at home. Still, it was not enough, as the head-to-head rule gave Angola the edge over us.
However, this group of boys has not shown the resilience and determination to achieve results against countries we have no business struggling against.


I don't trust them to get favourable results in their last two games in October.

The boys played on a bumpy surface, and under very wet conditions and you still find them running and chasing the ball with grit.
Many of these guys picked up injuries of varying degrees puting their bodies in line, risking their careers.

And someone has the heart to say that they did not play with determination.
It is very clear you did not watch them.

This Zubairu of a coach has used practically almost three different teams to execute tournaments involving the u-20 dis year (wafu Afcon ,now World Cup) yet , I can’t pinpoint any serious talent …and is pattern of play is so drab and boring …ladan bosso was not dis bad

This Bameyi is anti-Var awareness since the very 1st tournament i watched him in. He does stuff that makes one wonder if he'll always escape like today's.

How the under 20 coach selected his team baffled me . I don't see any pattern ,talents or formation in this team. Norway has never qualify for the knock out stage but it appears they will qualify now

We operate a handler based coaching for cadet tournaments. These ones have no significant upgrades in career that when powers that be select a squad, they'll happily queue up to be the handler of a squad they don't know. Everyone can't be Siasia. And irony is they're not even trying to be Siasia. These boys think we still play 2006 street football. Norway is not even sweating. Lol

the coaching education in Nigeria is really bad, imagine my shock to find out that one of our brightest coaches, Ogunmodede of Remo doesn’t have the required qualifications to coach in the CAF champions league

When selection is based on federal character and nepotism failure is inevitable. This under 20 lack depth

The coach and team appears confused

If we could not win Norway, Colombia would use us for shooting practice.

That penalty goal really set us up for a hard match against this Norwegian wall especially knowing that we dont have the quality in the middle to break them down heads on. Na manage we dey manage Ayuma and co in the middle. Daga not at his best today too. Arriving late doing him no good.

Aliyu really shot himself in the foot today shaa. We look so disjointed. Sani did not start. Brought him in only after we reàlised the error. We were a little better at the U20 Afcon. This first game is an eye sore. Would need a big turnaround in the second game to right the wrong.

VAR decision too not going our way. Omo. Just a really bad day.
