I know of a very nice Urhobo man. He worked with Daily Times in the late 80s, He retired some years after and his graduity was paid. He decided to invest and he involved his lovely wife, they both opened a beer parlor and a provision store in both of their names. The business became an instant hit. Over the years the wife started taking more control of the business, she went behind his back to change the bank details from a corporate account in both of their names to her own personal account without the man's knowledge. To cut the long story short, she started to frustrate,starve and dehumanize the man cos she had total control of the business that was funded 100% by the man. Eventually she asked him to park his bags and go back to his Village. When the man told me the story I cried. Ever since then I have been supporting the man (now in his mid 60s) with some monthly stipends and hopefully I will open a small business for him over there in Delta state.

Such story is very common.
A woman can be very good today but in 20 years or 30 years later you will start wondering if she was the one you married.
They charge decades later to become very bad.
A man is stable emotionally over a very long time but a woman.
Take the advice of one of the greatest psychoanalysts in the world,Sigmund Freud.
He said,in all his career,he never knew what a woman wanted.
Investing in a wife is a very risky venture.
A woman can change offensively when money start rolling in.
Your story is very correct.

Very few women these days would be there for a man. Give her the money as dash not as investment.

I know a man who funded his wife's business till it became the top in its sector here in Nigeria..a really big business...he was the MD in a top manufacturing company in Nigeria while he was sponsoring her business, until he retired.

He complained...in fact let me not talk.

Let's just say, thank God he had other investments.

This your story no make sense at all. You said the man worked at Daily Times, meaning he may have been exposed to some of the workings of the law and the legal system. If indeed his wife fraudulently switched the bank information and all, as you claim, why didn't the man sue her? 🥱🥱🥱

You mean a common stewpid story, you mean? How can a woman and wife change the corporate documents of her business and accounts of a company co-owned with her husband without the consent of the partners in the business?

Once woman start getting anof money, you as a man you not the head again, you become the part >:

Why don't you all invest in a man's business? Why must the man be the one investing?


No go find work do, laziness is not an honour

Firstly this is wrong and i'll explain.:

Invest in your significant other because you want them to be financially buoyant not because you are expecting a return on investment when the business booms, it's even worse if she isn't a kind woman from start.

The best plan B you men don’t know is investing in your wife’s business. Once you are making enough money as a man and your wife is also into business, please kindly pump money into your wife’s business, expand the business, give her enough money to grow her business.

The reality of life is that No one knows tomorrow, you can lost everything you once had at any point and Trust me, you can never get to a very bad stage with this backup plan B.

Also tell a lot of younger women if you can that the era of waiting for a financial saviour who would take all their financial pain is gone, because if they fail to build something along with the man, and God forbids he dies, woe betide you if you don't know how to manage his nouveau wealth.

As a man, before you listen to this advice just remember that when a woman makes money, she tells herself she doesn't need a man. Don't dig your own grave with your "investment".

This is a very bad advise.

And i feel for the foolish.

Allow her build herself, so she can value any dime given to her.

If not, you will be used and thrown away in due time.

As you carry feminism for head, don't you have brothers and a father at home, don't play the emotional blackmail game with me.

Your Wife is not your plan B!! Your kids are not your plan B!!! As a man, your plan B should be Rental properties, stocks, bonds, health insurance. Better still, wrap it up in Trust. Plan up till your own casket and burial. Life in old age is brutal to men!

Investing in your wife as a plan B is one of the worst mistakes you would do in life. All it take is one dude with sweet words to fool her and all your investments are gone.
