Ọmọ! You go fear crème de la crème of conflict resolution. Tinubu has no rival in this aspect.

Absolute respect.

Top respect to Dangote for standing his ground. He won! Those workers that want to unionize are out of his refinery, plugged into other companies within the Dangote group - out of the oil and gas industry entirely. There will be no PENGASSAN BS to join. If they are unlucky, they will be deployed to unfavorable locations.

On the other hand, Dangote gets to employ new workers for his refinery. I'm sure the new workers will sign an undertaking.

PENGASSAN calls off the strike. They protected workers' job - a small win. They failed to establish control in Dangote Refinery - a big loss - na the main thing wey dey want be that. They will try again though. Make dem go build their own refinery na if body dey scratch them. Selfish folks. Food don done, you bring spoon to come chop; shey na your ancestors build the refinery?

This is a big win for Nigeria. Business continue as usual.

God bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
God bless Dr. Mohammed Maigari Dingyadi
God bless Dangote Refinery
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Emergency lovers of Nigeria can choke on their tears 😭😭😭
You talk am... the cabal no want this refinery to work.

Na one thing or the other. They will definitely try again.

The fact pengassan agreed to call off the strike despite the redeployment stuff only showed they were fighting for the sacked workers who by the reason of the redeployment may no longer be their member

While the millions spent in training them in india will be lost as dangote will spend another to train some more
Dangote will always keep getting dumb advice from his Indian remote controls.

Because we see him as savior, he is now free to disregard our labour laws. I love the way the man blackmail gullible Nigerians into supporting him. First he is getting crude at cheaper price and selling fuel above import price. Always crying sabotage to have his way

Those town criers who have been crying for days now can now wipe their tears off. And all those ones that threatened one million man protest and can drive the protesters to kwara state where they are needed
Oga he won big time. The oil guys will be redeployed to his rice farm or sugar up north. They will have new salary structure. Then gradually will be sacked again. They lost out big time. Then they equally now have dent on thr cv which new companies may not want to employ them within nigeria if verification is done before employment.

There are NUPENG and pengassan in Dangote refinery now. Who lost the battle bros?

But NUPENG and PENGASSAN are not in the refinery and the workers were recalled. That's the most important thing

You still don't understand he simply redeployed PENGASSAN or NUPENG members to section of his company that doesn't require PENGASSAN or NUPENG membership.

Go school, you no gree.

There were two matters. The sacked workers and the right to join unions. The workers were recalled and to be redeployed. The workers can now join nupeng and PENGASSAN.

The statement reads: “The Honourable Minister of Labour informed the meeting that unionisation is a right of workers in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, and this right should be respected.

I think this is a very wise decision taken by dangote so therefore if you sneak into the refinery and decide to join any of the above listed Union dangote is free to redeploy you to dangote salt or dangote sugar in Niger state to go and continue your unionism

Don't be deceived. Dangote has effectively killed PENGASSAN/NUPENG unionism in the refinery.
Some of the affected workers would be called back to the refinery in future and they will NEVER attempt to join PENGASSAN/NUPENG again! They have learnt their lesson. Anytime they join the unions, the Management would ''reorganize''/''restructure'' and lay them off once again

And who will lose more after training them in india?

Anyway did dangote backdown by re employing them or not?

And what happened to the protest you were bragging that you will organize?
Stop being smart by half.Dangota is not poor.Who told u he is bothered about the money spent to train them if his aim was to sack them completely. Then as Oil and gas professional, if u are taken to rice company or suga even transport. Ur professional skill will gradually be destroyed over yrs

You are actually arguing blindly,is there any of dangote companies in Nigeria that’s not unionised the answer is no, the NLC has affiliates in every production sector of the economy dangote industries inclusive, dangote just tried his luck with his new refinery but it backfired

The most painful part oft his Dangote matter are those calling Tinubu that he doesn't want Dangote to excel, is it not the same Tinubu Lagos the refinery built? If truly Tinubu don't this refinery to fly, he wouldn't have allowed allocation of that land for Dangote to build that refinery in the first place.

Keep on deceiving yourself. Which worker would want to lose his/her job because of a union?
Dangote has won. Only a foolish worker in the refinery would dare join PENGASSAN/NUPENG again with this. Or they lose their job.

I thought it's his personal property and he can sack and hire at will
Why bowing down to pressure this time

Pengassan lost nothing, all the members will get their full salaries this month, that's in millions for most of them, while people like you can keep bickering

Oboy you are dull ooh . redeployed from Dangote refinery at 800 to Dangote sugar Numan at 280 in a Snake infested location .
You no well 99 percent of them go resign
Other are going to rice mill in Hadejia
Other Sugar Farm in Nassarawa .
I don't think any of those 800 employees earns upto 800k....you can do your research, Dangote pays poorly....this is mainly because his companies are runned by indians.

What is the definition of 'redeploy'

Are they saying the sacked staff were given new posts in the dangote group?

I think the right thing is to give them back their initial posts

Pengassan has left them to dry..

"If verification "
Am sorry for you, those guys that spent months in India won't find it hard to get refinery jobs anywhere in the world because they ve worked with one of the biggest refineries
Have u asked why dangote mandated them to sign bonds.
Dangote has lost talents and replacing those talents doesn't come easy. I guess you haven't really gotten to that level to know the importance of human resources in any organization
