It was not the war that decimated al Qaeda or the Taliban, it was the superior intelligence of US that made the statement, 'you can run but you cannot hide'. The war in Afghanistan wasted thousands of innocent life and lots of money with little to show for it.

I will not spare the life of someone after my life and my family too, I only urge you to put some values on the innocent life you call collateral damages. Many of those people are just humans like you with no interest in hurting anyone, but people in pursuit of peace and happiness just like you, not just some statistical numbers of unknown entities. So if there is an alternative way of getting the bad guys without ending the innocents dreams or life, then let's advocate for the alternative ways. That is much SIMPLER!

Israel was attacked, their people held as hostages, Some of the hostages released actually confirmed they were held in the houses of these "innocent civilians". Give me an alternative way of getting Hamas guys who embed themselves into the civilian population of Gaza.

Israel has taken extra ordinary steps to put value on the lives which is why they share leaflets to the civilians, the send warnings and text messages to the people. If Israel was not caring for the Gaza civilians, you know they can wipe out everyone there within 7 days. But they have not and they are not. That is the limit of caring in a war
