Just like Tinubu, El-Rufai is busy shouting true federalism, but the day he gets the opportunity to lead Nigeria, he will deny he ever said that. President Goodluck Jonathan no try at all. This is a man from a region that needed it the most. He served a Diepreye Alamieyeseigha who fought for it for years. Got the opportunity to lead and totally forgot true federalism. |

True federalism is the way to go. Full resources control, state police, state powers to make it's laws, state powers to issue automatic weapons to it's vigilante outfit. |
| Re: Nigeria At 65: El-rufai Advocates True Federalism, Fair Elections by bentenny(m): 5:50pm On Oct 01, 2025 |
Full implementation of true federalism! That's the right way to go! Too much dependence on the centre! State must be fully autonomous by decentralizing most of the laws on the exclusive list to the concurrent list! See what is happening with electricity in states after it was removed from the exclusive list! |

gigabyte13:Believe it or not, Elrufai is a cerebral collusus. He was the Chairman of the APC committee on True Federalism and submitted the report to the party since 2018. https://x.com/elrufai/status/1794619746572202204?lang=en |

| Re: Nigeria At 65: El-rufai Advocates True Federalism, Fair Elections by AMINDA: 6:06pm On Oct 01, 2025*. Modified: 6:28pm On Oct 01, 2025 |
Kingju:Yes. The first and only governor to introduce electronic voting at local government level. APC lost some local governments at state LG elections during his time. Something unheard of at the time. He also enforced full local government autonomy as governor of Kaduna. Uba Sani came into power and repealed the electronic voting law, going back to manual voting.

The question now is, why wait until now to advocate for this? |

What we need is separation. Let's us go our ways. Please take a moment to write a quality post with at least 40 characters. This will make the forum more interesting for everyone. |

Total separation is the way to go . True federalism that would still allow El rufai’s brothers killing over Nigeria in the guise of one Nigeria is still a ruse |

Shikini:Sorry is your case, if you think El Rufai believes in any kind of federalism or something close to it. The mofo is only telling people like you what you want to hear to feel happy or have hatred fir Tinubu. All Nigerian politicians are the same, with one aim of grabbing power or being on the sharing table. Forget all the talks, non of them care about you. |

El-Rufai is not morally fit to demand anything from Tinubu, same way I will tell my fellow Yoruba people they are not morally fit to demand for good governance from another president who isn't of Yoruba descent |
| Re: Nigeria At 65: El-rufai Advocates True Federalism, Fair Elections by Ibman: 6:56pm On Oct 01, 2025 |
Anything El-rufai is trash to me, when he was kaduna state governor what did he do. He felt he owns the state, he had power and felt he can do away with other religions and other parts of the state because Nigeria belong to only his religion. Today walahi i will never support him and will continue to campaign against him. This is his government let him continue to enjoy it with us |

Shikini:Removing the useless fuel subsidies is a economic reform that should have been implemented in 2012. Expanding the tax base is a reform. Nigerians often seem to want to drift through life, doing nothing and producing nothing. A businessman, Dangote, builds a refinery, yet useless Nigerians want to destroy it. If Nigerians were given the chance, they would still be selling slaves until the British stopped it. |

It's a lie, all we want is an election system that counts, nothing more nothing less. I don't know why 90 percent of Nigerian politicians are not interested to have free fair credible elections. 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱 |

| Re: Nigeria At 65: El-rufai Advocates True Federalism, Fair Elections by Kingju: 8:03pm On Oct 01, 2025 |
AMINDA:All these things you posted na propaganda, where you in kaduna and did you vote in the last election? Where you aware of the rigging he did especially for the last LGA that was supposed to determine the final result. I'm telling you of first hand experience not something I read on the paper |

When will they arrest this man for his crime against humanity in Southern kaduna |
| Re: Nigeria At 65: El-rufai Advocates True Federalism, Fair Elections by AMINDA: 8:30pm On Oct 01, 2025 |
Kingju:What are you talking about? I am talking about Elrufai being the first governor to introduce electronic voting in Kaduna for local government elections. Which part of that is propaganda? APC lost local governments in Southern Kaduna. It was free and fair. Is there any state in Nigeria today where an opposition party can win a local government against the ruling party? Uba Sani came in and repealed the law and the LG election he organised was openly rigged. Elrufai has never been afraid to lose an election. He lost his polling unit as sitting governor at the electronic LG election I was referring to. https://www.channelstv.com/2021/09/04/lg-elections-el-rufai-loses-polling-unit-to-pdp/ |
