Nigeria needs to search everywhere on earth for good centre backs and right backs
Ola Aina out till January
No way I’d trust Osayi Samuel or Sadiq Ismaila bending
We have competition for left back
What’s up with Ebuehi
Dont even mention Ebuehi abeg
That guy doesn't want to improve as a footballer

It was an entertaining match no doubt. Arierhi missed few chances but remained a constant threat in attack. Immediately after he was substituted, the attack collapsed. Saudi were unfortunate, hitting the post twice.
I think a draw against Colombia should be enough to push them through to the next round, knockout

Drawing vs Capeverde to barely scrape through to the WC faceoff vs Ghana. Was that effortless?

Rohr did well between 2016 and 2019. His decline began 2020 till 2021. It was right to fire him.
His decline started on the eve of the 2018 World Cup during the friendlies we played. He lacked self belief and kept on undermining his team with his words. Towards the end, he became totally clueless.

That's why I no dey like am once Onuachu or Sadiq score in their clubs. Not because I don't want them to make progress in their clubs but because before you know it people start clamoring for them to be invited.

Onuachu and Sadiq are not Super Eagles material. Our playing style does not suit them. The earlier we come to terms with this reality, the better for us just so that we avoid the confusion that comes with the clamor for their invite.

The NFF should replace the current coaches of the U17 and U20 male National Teams.
This present NFF is grossly incompetent.

Aren’t Onuachu & Arokodare the same type of players ?
Not as quick or technical as Moffi ?

No difference physically and mentally between Ladan Bosso and Aliyu Zubairu . Why the federation boss playing ethnic politics with our ⚽️. Both of those men are not fit to coach a high school football team
.

I swear looking at dis men it was as if Nigeria has no better coaches, though Bosso is 5% better than this "Suberu" Zubairu

Their lives depended on this game
I don’t see how they get the W against Colombia though
We live in a world where Saudi Dey drag sports with Nigeria now
Smh

Sincerely, I am ashamed to be a Nigerian football fan under dis direction-less and useless Guso led nff team.

Well at least they got the 3 points

Obviously they may finish worse than the last edition with the way they're playing. My expectations for this squad have dipped drastically.
.

You can see "Suberu" Zubairu has no tactical input to dis team rather than pick players for the match and d players he picked are awful.

The worst part is, dey play like untrained secondary school students.

I was always hearing Kparobo-Kparobo and how he was the best thing since Osimhen, I had to make out time to watch him once, and I was so disappointed. Once, he was named as the striker for this tourney I knew the coach was not serious.

Norway and Colombia are already on 4 points. And I don't see Norway not getting at least a draw against this Saudi team. Therefore the only route is scraping a win. Anyhow

The real problem of this team is purely down to tactical issues; once again an evidence of very poor coaching). The sort of goal scoring chances Ariehi missed would make you wonder if this lad is supposed to be the next heir to Osimhen as touted? very poor, the defending was so school-boy level and comical, surely Bameyi must have a football godfather in the NFF...football isn't hard, stick to the basics and fundamentals and you will be largely fine.

But the current state of Nigerian football isnt anything to inspire confidence right now, we need an urgent administrative overhaul. The likes of Morocco, South Africa, Senegal etc look to be on an upward trajectory in their football development, Morocco in particular are really on a high wave right now, all their best foreign born talents are proudly representing them at all levels; while ours are avoiding us...truly sad state. If this current Super Eagles fail to qualify for the world cup even with the little glimmer of hope FIFA gave us, then we should ban football in Nigeria for some years and use the time off to do some thorough introspection and clean house from top to bottom.

Don't blame the man. The country runs on a quota system. In everything. Maybe somehow, some of them will move beyond backwater league football. Especially those that play with brains and not power.

Our U20 is an uncoordinated bunch of lads showing the gross incompetence of the coaching crew
In every national coach one can easily see the tendencies of cultural bias in selection, if it's a yoruba coach, one will see many yoruba players whether competent or not, same for others
we should quit this cultural/religious selection of players, it's hurting our age-based football

NFF cannot keep recycling same old failed coaches while expecting a different result.

On the other hand, i wonder what happened to Benjamin, Divine and Chukwu, this Akin-something in the defence is a liability and Bamaiyi should retire from aged grade football, enough is enough
And my pick of the bunch is Okoro and Ayuma, Okoro has impressed me a lot, wish he can keep it together and get a good team where he can grow.

Wish them the best but they should gear up for Colombia, those boys are skillful but not unbeatable

Na federal character law be d problem.
They d rather put in someone with 20% output against someone with 70% output just to make sure that every part is represented. As a country, we re heading nowhere.

Only one creative midfielder in the entire list. Pretty much sums up our problems.

Basically these 2 players with Maigana play with brains. Ariehi will come good with good coaching. He has all the attributes of a good 9 bar his finishing. But he will come good. But the one with Highest ceiling is Ayuma.

Did Chelle smoke something before releasing that squad? Why invite only 4 midfielders with no bone of creativity between them outside of Iwobi (who isn't consistent anymore?), omo i give up abeg

Is Onyedika injured?
So for almost a decade we still don't have a creative midfielder aside Iwobi🙃
So E.Chelle can't search for one
No Gift Orban but S.Moses makes the list

It seems like Onyedika and Dele Bashiru are injured, hence their omission from the list... But the midfield is still flat... Why drop Uche?? Too many strikers in the team...Osimhen, Moffi, Dessers, Adams, Tolu ..5 strikers...for what Na ?
