Lolz. Major cheerleaders for Tinubu eg. Seyi Law and Reno have their families in UK while deceiving their moronic followers that Nigeria is working. When shit hits the fan, they are one plane ticket away from abandoning their dejected followers.

It doesn't make much economic sense to me...

If you are earning in naira and sending it to your family in the UK.

If you are earning in pounds then I would understand and be able to justify why your family is over there!
His wife earn in pounds
He's got side hussles in the UK

Don't let him bamboozle you with lamba

Quite obvious that your mind is still in military mentality, what the great Fela Kuti tagged colonial mentality.

The problem with most of u wailers, is that u do not understand the democrazy u practice, hence ur mind still remains in a perpetual state of poverty.
Oga Democracy what do you understand by democracy? You people will just come online and be forming knowledge meanwhile nothing upstairs.

We are supposed to be practicing a federal system of government under a democracy copied from the
US but where's the fiscal federalism component that goes with it? Where are the checks and balances or separation of powers as postulated by Baron De Montesquei? Most importantly, where's the rule of law as developed by AV Dicey as the absence of arbitrariness.
These are institutional foundations upon which democracy flourishes. If they are fully implemented then the sub nationals down to the grassroots becomes even more powerful than the centre. The president wouldn't dare remove subsidy cos that right would be done at various levels of government depending their resources and population. No African country practicing democracy is making any meaningful progress except South Africa. But other the other hand China, Russia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc are not practicing democracy but have one of the highest standards of living indices globally. It's not democracy that liberates people, it's adherence to the tenets of democracy of any form of government you decide to practice that brings prosperity to the people.
When the tenets are adhered, That is when you can say go back to your governor.
We lack institutional democracy and this 1999 military constitution with a command structure was designed to open a little door for the military to return back to power. The political class have seen this weakness and exploited it to the detriment of the common Nigerian and will never really amend the key areas. That was why the Confab was convened but unfortunately PMB three it away upon assuming power.
Please be educated in the political economy of
Nigeria before saying anything

He said his family has been in the U.K. since 2019. He did not just sneaked his family to the U.K. in Tinubu's regime, his family has been there before Tinubu's regime.

Peter Obi's family has been scattered in different parts of the world hiding his looted money, if he becomes President of Biafra today which is the best he can be in his life, he will not relocate all of them back to Nigeria
Intelligence is pursuing you with a slice of it but you are irredeemable

Stop being everywhere with your talk and saying nothing. I can see you struggling to sound intelligent.

The question is, tell me what any state governor can do to immune his state and its dwellers from the effect of subsidy removal which is an act from the center.

Talk to specifics and leave Fela to Rest In Peace ☮️.
Whose fault has time for u? u swore u would leave Nairaland if Tinubu won in 2023, so in the general scope of things, your opinion is inconsequential.

That's because it's beyond your comprehension.

I just gave you a scholarly summary of what the framers of democracy intended it to be because people like you run your mouth about a concept you know nothing about just because the skewed version we are operating favours your tribe or party
