I don't think the emboldened is true. If you are going for a PhD, you can apply for the Talent - Research Visa. The difference with the student visa is that with this visa type, your family can join you without needing much documents and they can work if they are above 18 years.

Additionally, you'd be given an initial 3 months visa. When you arrive in France (within the 3 months), you will apply for a resident permit and you will be given a 3 years visa. This way, you won't need constant yearly visa renewal.

Most research is treated as work, and you will sign an agreement with the lab/school that would be hosting you - contract/research agreement.

Lastly, I have a scholarship, that also helped. There's nothing special about me bro.
The percentage of people who have attained your category of visa are very minimal. Check around if you hear of anyone with kind of visa. It is a special category designated for certain people. In that context, it is for highly skilled persons
Talent/Research visas are not designated for everyone. You must have attained some level of achievement academically and you also confirmed that you are on scholarship. Na ordinary person dey get scholarship? grin grin

There are alot of things special about you bro, know your worth and the Grace you carry.

Go Ye to Europe and Prosper brethen.
Regards

Hi,

France handles Netherlands visas for Nigeria. The question would be- which of the 2 destinations best suits your travel goals for 2025?

As for your account balance, 15m is more than enough to show you can comfortably cover a 7-day trip. What would be useful is for you to create a budget for your travel dates. Take into account flight, accommodation, feeding, local transportation.

Since you have your own company with a solid account balance, the jointly-owned hotel is a cherry on the cake. If it has a good bank statement, you can choose to submit it alongside your own company account.

All the best with your application!
Thank you very much

Happy Birthday in advance, you need a multiple entry Schengen visa to enter Mexico if you don’t have a Mexican visa.
Your pof amount is at the discretion of the visa officer but I’ll advise you have atleast 20m or more in your account to support the three of you. Especially if you are a first time applicant. Best of luck

I believe you'll most likely hear back today. The email usually comes in the afternoon.

Hello everyone,

I already had 3 Schengen visa from France.

My first visa was 10 days...single entry
Second visa was 3 months...multiple entry
third visa was a months. single entry

Now, I intend to apply for the fourth visa and I will like to request for a year visa with multiple entry.

How do I go about this pls? do I need to indicate this in my application letter or can I apply for a long stay visa?

Don’t apply for long stay oo.. Write a letter requesting for 1 year visa (multiple entry) give reasons why you’re requesting for it. That’s what I did

You don’t have to request for it; they will automatically give it to you if you qualify.

The official policy as described in the Schengen Visa Code is that you should have received and used (without issue) 3 visas within 2 years before they grant you a one-year multiple-entry visa, then a 2- or 3-year, and then a five-year.

Write an appeal and send to nantes via dhl
Marcgrace:
Hello@Everyone,

Has anyone appealed a France visa refusal? I need some advice...
Someone with experience in a Graceful Appeal, an Appeal to the Commission for Appeals Against Visa Application Refusals (CRRV), or an Appeal to the Administrative Court of Nantes ?

Is it more difficult to get group appointment and if its easier to get a single person's appointment, is it advisable for husband and wife to try to find appointments individually?

For context, someone earlier mentioned getting next day Abuja appointment but for couple, I can only see November.

Thank you
