You're correct. Anyone who has been self employed or paid health insurance premiums out of their own pocket should know this. Before Obama Care, premiums were somewhat affordable, but prices increased astronomically when it was implemented. It would be informative if anyone who has paid out of pocket premiums could tell the prices.

Obama Care is a terrible scheme, but healthcare is a terrible market and moral problem. It's the one thing socialists can justifiably hold onto to extract money from hard working people.
