its not today our police have not had sense and have only desired ways of milking the public. its also a pity today our journalists like rufai and Seun lacke the sense to ask the right questions. I am still waiting for the journalist that will ask how having or not having a tint permit helps or prevents them identify criminals? the truth about the matter is this you ask yourself what kind of person joins the police force? With a few exceptions, if you were one of the brightest of your class would you join the police, be a lecturer or join the civil service? |

Mine just got approved last night, had I known sha This one is sounding naive, how can you say it’s not for financial gain? Is it free of charge? Even if the money is going to federal account won’t the money still be looted by the government? |

This police IG is just looking for every means possible to extort money from Nigerians. He tried the first one and the court told court that the police is not a revenue making organization for government and he is trying this one too. Why can't he just be reasonable and understand the level of suffering Nigerians are going through? Nawaoo! 🥱🥱🥱 |

Smartcitizen:brother he would have succeeded if not the outcry of the public. They initially did not want to obey the court order. You have to know both the politicians and executive turned a blind eye. That’s because they will not want to refuse the police from eating themselves. They need the police for their dirty games too. It was the public outcry that defeated them to finally obey court order. Kudos to both the judiciary and Nigerians |

How does tinted permit make Police know whats in the car if the window is not wound down? Rather than ask for a permit, to secure lives ask for drivers wind down their car windows |

So, how does registering vehicles with tinted glasses solve or prevent crime, after everybody vehicle has been registered ? 90% of imported Tokunbo vehicles on our roads arrive with factory fitted tinted glasses and they are duly registered by the licensing authority. So, how does this additional layer of registration change anything, other than the purpose of revenue generation? If at all this would make sense, it should be for those with aftermarket tinted glasses that was not captured during initial license plate registration. treesun: |

TalkingBird:It's as simple as that, bro. We lack common sense in this country. Even with your windows wound down b4 approaching the policemen, they'll still request for the tint permit. |
