What did nff do ?

They job is to provide resources they’re not supposed to dictate a philosophy for a coach not that we have one to begin with
NFF is meant to sponsor the training of coaches and also ensure Nigerian footballers know the basics of team football.

U20 players in other countries are already professional footballers its only Nigeria that uses it to market players.
Where will they be professionals in nigeria when a Rabiu Ali is still playing after 40years?

SE is not qualifying for the WC 2026.

Not having VAR cost the SE badly in the earlier fixtures.

Genuine goals were ruled as offside making at least 1 match end in a draw.

I think I disagree. If you want a coach, hire the qualified one, not one that lacks basic football knowledge, We are not even talking about understanding modern football,, Basic as in BASIC....!!!!!

Using coaches that are bereft of ideas as well as Sabotage on the part of NFF is why we are here. We should stop putting square pegs in round holes

The coaches have a cabal it’s like a circle they rotate the jobs around themselves it seems other people can’t get the proper coaching license to handle our youth teams

Yes for each team. the same way EPL teams have U21 league. You see why I said we need a shut down? If we want to privatize the clubs , so be it. But the league needs to run by today's standard. Is it too much to ask? if the answer is yes, then we have no business lamenting the state of things. We should just take things as they come.

But let us all know that in us not demanding for better from our leaders is why they have become so brazen and emboldened so much that we have gotten used to their way of life and accepted it as norm...!

NO PLAYOFFS ❌

The maximum number of points Nigeria can bag in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualification is 17.

Zero basics of coordinating passes, ball control or marking an opponent. Yet they all claim to be from Academies. Oh and one of them happens to be a free agent (without a club).
I've said it before.... The u-20 national team should be a platform for showcasing our best young talents and not for marketing them...
If not for dubious intentions, why should Academy players be making the u-20 team? I mean, why will you fill an u-20 team with players who have little or no professional experience under their belt?
Then there is this issue of recycling players for different tournaments...

Let's be honest, it will take a while before another talent emerges from this our u--20 if we keep up this selection process

If its not that we revel in mediocrity, we have people Mike Emenalo, Olofinjana, Idah Peterside , players who have played the game at the highest level but we would be having failed politicians (either couldnt get nomination from their party or lost primaries) who just had to be consoled with a position in our federation running things. How far can you go on a flat tire? Heck, how fast can you go?

If you all are so disgusted with this team and say we have no true talent on the team, then why are you still watching? End the game on your end and comment on something else then. 😁

Is the CHAN team an age grade team?

Also, did I blame the fans for the selection issue? Or was it the fans that made the selection?

Sometimes ago I went with my kid bro to nff office and what I saw was completely eye sour.

I have said it several times on this forum that nff is clog to the wheel of progress for Nigeria's football.

A few years from now, one or two from this same set will emerge and and most monikers here will be amnesiac by then to recall when they called each and everyone of them rubbish.

The trend on this thread is the same every time.

A youth team starts doing well and everyone rushes in claiming to have a good knowledge of the team but the moment they falter, they go mute.

A team does well, and everyone knows every player and calls all talents.

But a team does not do well and the whole team is condemned.

This is how Benjamin Frederick was not taken so seriously on this thread until 2 yrs on, he got a Super Eagles call up and then everyone is taking notice.

I believe in seeing the talent before others catch on.

#FlyingEagles2025.
False!

Frederick was rated by most of us here at U20.

During the tournament only. Bandwagon praise. After the tournnament, most abandoned ship. Only a few of us followed up on Frederick and all the others we rated.

Noticed how almost no one talks about Abel Ogwuche anymore? I did in a few reports post tournament.

But when he rises now, u will do what u just did and remind me everyone also rated Ogwuche.

There is no shortage of talents in nigeria, but daft administrators who have limited knowledge about how football should be ran

But Danny, have u not seen a few unfortunate souls blaming me for the failure of our national teams? 😂😂😂

All I do is try my best to shine the light on our players and analyse those who can make us better and stronger at the Senior level. For years, I have pointed out our midfield issues and even suggested analytical solutions but I am the problem.

This is what I get for following up on our talents. Lol... All sense flies out the door and windows when our teams lose. So the overly emotional or non thinking ones start looking for who to blame aside the NFF.

I don laugh tire. 😂
