The painful thing for me is my recent discovery that cowrywise high yield investment does not even compound quarterly. I was told it compounds annually. Now with my quarterly compounding template, the rate is almost the same with STANBIC that compound monthly. I no fit cry I beg

You should understand that cowrywise is no different from our OGA EMMASOFT, they are intermediary, they only lead you to the right source to buy MMF. They don't own it.

Whatever cowrywise policy is, is systematically done to get you to always operate their platform and pay them their fee or for them to get referral bonus from the original asset management house.

If you want full disclosure, trade with the original asset management house.

Lol, I can relate, at times I just wonder why they can't be explicit with daily rates and returns for customers to see all on the app.

I’m uncertain about how long it typically takes for my MMF fund manager to credit my MMF account after a transfer. I use the legacy fund (FCMB), and it has been over 30 hours now. The customer service has been quite frustrating, as they rarely respond. I have sent an email and a WhatsApp message to the Assistant Client Administrator, but I have yet to receive a reply.

I guess am using the wrong fund manger seriously, time to switch to Gtbank

After shooting them multiple mails, there finally call me on phone that they are working on it, latest this afternoon, I will be attend to please, I should be patient there are working on it.. I guess the call is from the head office

Hello guys, please how long does it take for deposits via bank transfer to reflect on the profile for FCMB MMF, dey called and was told latest in the afternoon and now the day is over, now dey want me lose today Intrest again...... Over 48 hours am worried is this normal

I opened gtbank fund manager account, i guess i’d just let it end there. Gtbank customer service is just a no no. I just like their quarterly repayments. But I don’t know how they would handle issues if i have one. Am not round to go to bank.

Don't let Low Rate Equals NO INVESTMENT For You

Rates are going lower and there is nothing you can do about that but there is one thing you have power to do - INVEST YOUR MONEY. Don't let low rate meet cash in your hands or bank account.

By the way low rate is actually one of the signs of better economy.

today stanbic ibtc interest is 17.54% with holding tax plus handling charges is about 2.8% now if you add 2.8% to 17.54% you will be having almost 20%

Hello,
I invested into cowrywise mutual funds but I am getting 15.50% annual returns.

Kindly advise me on the better option wether to continue with 'Managed Portfolio' with 15.50% returns or 'Individual Mutual Funds' where 'Cowrywise Investment Portfolio' returns 17.45%

Please understand this: The safety of your capital in any MMF is the same.
Safety and security of invested funds are based on the nature of the fund, not the fund manager.

For example, MMF is safe anywhere, while an equity fund is not guaranteed anywhere, irrespective of the manager
Any manager/product that has the following:

Fund manager, Custodian bank, Trustees, and SEC regulation are good enough to do business with; other criteria of choosing a particular fund manager are more personal opinions, because what is not a big deal to one investor may be otherwise to another.

The rate is always in a range in the industry and valued daily, so in the long run, MMF is virtually the same as other considerations of each fund manager is applied.

As per my opinion, the truth is that I'm not a Rep to any of the managers you mentioned, and there is a tendency that my judgment might be subjective.
Norrenberger, Stanbic, First Ally, and SFS are the ones I handle.

If you mean crediting of your interest, that will be next business day which is Monday.

All interest earned on weekends and public holidays (work free days) are posted next business day.

However, if what you mean is that your deposit was not credited, it means you must have made your deposit after 12pm hence you will have value next business day (Monday) as well.

All interest earned on weekends and public holudays (work free days) are posted next business day.

I saw treasury bills at the rate of 16.5% for 36 days on Stanbic IBTC asset management, What's the advantage of it as Mutual funds is 17.64% as at today's rate?
