I’ll advise you separate your business transactional account from your salary account, you will have a whole lot of explanations to make about the inflow and outflow with document back up. They’ll look for any loophole(s) to refuse you. Just run your salary account alone and submit it. UK no be joke o

A birth certificate is the standard official legal document used to prove a child's relationship to their parents.

But note that a certificate issued significantly later than the date of birth can raise suspicion of fraud. For example, a birth certificate issued a year or more after the child’s birth can raise questions.

99.99999999999999% chance that it has been approved.
It's the same thing that they sent to my cousin and she got the passport delivered to her today via courier.

I will book her flight this evening.
By God's grace, she will be in the UK by this time next week.

Hello house. I had a 6 month tourist visa previously and now want to apply for 2 years. Would I use the same cover letter style to apply? For context, it was a business visit for a work trip that was scheduled for 5 days. Now that I want to apply for 2 years, do I still use the same format?

1. £1,000 is not enough, i don't think it will cover your flight ticket.
2. The documents listed are ok, if it is your first application, make your bank statement 6 months.
3. You do not need a flight itinerary

oh, that is new info to the conversation. If your mum is sponsoring you with £3,000, then £1,000 is enough so far it is not more than double of your monthly disposable income.

thank you so much. I’ll have to reduce mine to £500 since I earn 600k, spend 200k monthly so I’m left with 400k has disposable income. Although I do have good amount of savings with piggyvest. Nevertheless I’d just be on a safe side.

What has changed significantly and why do you think this time the ECO will grant the visa? You are further complicating your matters if the above can not be explained and proven, and you still need another adult to sponsor the whole trip. More doubts plus previous refusals in your history will not work for you. Eco would feel there is nothing urgent about the trip and you definitely do not need to go for a holiday you can not genuinely afford.,. Brings you back to the question of strong home ties…
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by KaylaO: 7:38am On Oct 09, 2025
Good morning house.

I have a quick question, please. I am submitting my application for a 6 month visa (for my daughter and I). My husband is sponsoring the trip but we plan that, instead of him providing me his personal bank statement (which is currently not available), I would use his business docs and account, then he would fund my account with the necessary amount needed for the trip, tag it "travel allowance" and then explicitly explain all this in my cover letter and his sponsorship letter.

Is this a good move or should we just attach his personal bank statement as well?

Note: The reason we are unable to attach his personal bank statement is because we plan to use his US bank statement (Capital One Bank) but he lost his login details and is unable to log into the app, and he cannot verify his identity until he goes back to the US, which isn't happening anytime soon as it stands now, he doesn't have access to that account so he cannot request his bank statement.

Your help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

So sorry, I don't have access to the mail for this account. I am not an expert in this visa thing though. Lots of people on here with more experience ( cash madam, Giselle, etc) that can help you if you share what you need advice on, reading through the thread is also helpful
Hi HaneefahRN, did you email me with different email atall because I have someone in my email claiming to be you whereas you replied me the last time that you don't have access to your email?

Biometrics was on 17th September. Today is 9th October, I haven't gotten any feedback.

Someone that I know that did her biometrics same day has gotten feedback.

Thanks for this. I actually have savings to cover my air fare and my balance can actually cover my trip. The reason why i mentioned the Ajo is because the outflow increases my expenses even though i still have balances left over which have contributed to the savings i have in the account. So in terms of what has changed for me, i am able to articulate that. My sponsor is only covering some expenses. Im personally covering my air fare and the balance in my account is over 8M.

I am of course able to prove the contribution as it is the same amount monthly to the same source. My documents all come from the same source as with all my previous applications, I have a letter from work and im using the same salary account as i used in my previous applications as well as my payslips which has also significantly increased since my previous application which was two years ago. I just wanted to understand better how to handle the Ajo portion in my outflows from my account.

Also if anyone has a template for the cover letter, please kindly share with me

Staying in their house is fine and should not be tagged as sponsorship. They can issue a letter to say accommodation to be borne by them.
Reduce your trip to 7-10-12 day duration so you can comfortably stay under the £1500 margin.
My opinion is always to sponsor yourself as an adult fully. You are not a parent which makes circumstances different.
As it is a holiday the ECO expects that the intent of the trip and the affordability of the trip should be okay for you as an adult otherwise you should postpone your travel as holiday is not compulsory nor do or die.
Asylum is real and lots of overstayers so getting visa is not as before esp in 2025 and especially in your case with previous refusals from them.
You are already on shaky grounds. Think very well about your plans and approach.

You have previous refusals.
Avoid dabbling into murky waters if you have had no travel history since your last UK refusal.
You would make your case more difficult.
In normal circumstances, they feel the business account and monies is for the running of the business that is why it is tricky.
Try and avoid another refusal.
If it means waiting 1 year to sort yourself out including sponsor’s accounts in my opinion do that.
You must prove origin of funds— whether yours or sponsor’s. It is not enough to present travel allowance of say 1 billion, paper evidence must show the trail and where this money was availed from.

Option 2.
Draft an MOU or legal paper signed by company secretary detailing director and nuclear family are entitled to say medicals and fully paid travel allowances say thrice a year.
Details details details on these company documents.
Mark this clause .
Then the company account can then transfer travel allowance to you because the legal documents show that this is company policy and can be proven with documentation and also that business funds are not been used as personal funds.
You will also attach this paper to your application as part of evidence. It shows decorum and shows accounting and also shows origin of funds.
If you have had previous travels and done this same travel allowance thing… reference them to back up this particular scenario.
