Your husband is a witness only and not tn accused. The worst that will result from the whatsapp msgs is that the court may not believe his testimony or will give it less weight when coming to a decision. There are no implications for hubby, so long as he is not charged with any crime.

Word is perjury. Perjury would only apply if he lies to the court in this case.

The purpose of bringing the WhatsApp msgs is to show that hubby is not an honest person and this his testimony is not reliable.
However he can only be guilty perjury if it is proved that he lied to the court in this case.
