Fathy001:Am afraid 😟 You may wait for 1 month as a frequent traveler. I applied since 2nd September 2025 as a frequent traveller I got my passport back on 3rd October. I guess most of the VO are on vacation. |

visamaster2025:Are you truly a visa master? And why will you call me a liar or misleading anyone? Please make your research and cover your face in shame as the one misleading. Don’t dabble into what you have no knowledge of. YOU CAN TRAVEL TO MEXICO WITH A MULTIPLE SCHENGEN VISA! WITHOUT ANY OTHER VISA NEEDED!!! Make your research and stop unnecessary assumptions. This is something I have done before!!!! |

donteebalo:Dude sorry my bad--- Yes, you can enter Mexico with a valid Schengen visa for tourist, business (invited) and transit purposes for up to 180 days. This applies to holders of multiple-entry Schengen visas that are currently valid and have been used at least once to enter the Schengen Area. Key requirements: But he/she needs to be careful if his/her requirement is not perfect |

ohlordhavemercy:Very sorry for your refusal. Why not seek for some advice from experts before you apply? No, do not apply immediately until you understand, study your refusal letter and get them solved properly. According to documents submitted - Your Balance in your Bank Statement is too low. #7.2M is too low to visit France for 8 days. That is why refusal Number 1 is issued to you. **** I also do not think your cover letter is not explanatory enough to the VO. On Refusal Number 2 - Means your Travel History, you never travel before. Look for some civilized countries to go first before applying again. May i asks which of the Africa visas you presented? Africa visas are not recognized any more. Getting a Schengen, USA, Canada Visas sometimes you need to use money to find money. This is your situation now. Good luck |

Dottune:No, you do not need to say that. But the VO in charge of your application will see it on their system. Please seek advice from expert and prepare very well. Visa Issuance is very hard now. All the best !!! |

Chelseaboy101:Are you applying for a tourist visa? I guess yes. Cancel, delete your France visa form and TLS Lagos Centre wait for 24 - 48 hours. Fill in for Abuja Centre All the Best |

Marcgrace:If you are a computer literate check AI on any system, explain all to AI, he will draft you a good appeal letter. But on my own perspective I do not advise you to appeal it is a waste of time. You have 5% chance you will win the appeal. |

Hello, Please, do not compare your own situation or your visa application with others. "Luck is just on your side". Typically, #7.2M is too low to visit France for 8 days. Think about the economic situation in the country? How much is #7,2M this moment? If it is for real Calculate it - Returned Flight ticket, Accommodation for 8 days, Feeding, Transport (here and there) and other miscellaneous expenses. with family back home, also are you not going to save money behind for use when you are back? Cheers!!! |

Please i can't find where to do the dummy booking on airfrance website. The hold booking I see is only for 72hours. |

SPDAZZY:Hey Dude, Why you complicating things for yourself, if your visa is refused you will be thinking why? Not knowing you caused it yourself. Why going for a dummy Flight booking? Dummy booking hold reservation maximum for 72 hours, after 72 hours it will be cancelled. It is not Hotel reservation. I will advise you to look for a trust airline agent, pay him / her the flight reservation booking under #15k - #20k to have a rest of mind, *** please be aware that Flight booking reservation are among the essential documents the VO / embassy does confirm in any visa application. Cheers!!! |

I understand you here. But still yet either you book the cheapest hotels or not #7.2M is too low for his trip to France. for 8 days. List all the criteria i listed earlier If you convert #7.2M to Euros it is approximately -- 4,100 euros. You are lucky dude trust me your visa application was handle by a good-hearted VO. |

Hello, Please has anyone submitted an application in Abuja recently? I’d like to know if the current waiting period is now one month like how Lagos is recently |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by SPDAZZY(f): 3:37pm On Oct 09, 2025 |
visamaster2025:I have that from trip.com but it says flight reservation only and not booking so I was wondering if that's workable. |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by SPDAZZY(f): 3:39pm On Oct 09, 2025 |
Zeefaa:Their site was having issues but just went through an hour ago. There is availability from Friday 17th |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by TheLoanGuy: 4:13pm On Oct 09, 2025 |
SPDAZZY:It is workable don't mind him. Use Ethiopian Airlines to book your flight, use the pay later option. Your flight ticket will be sent to your email. |

| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by visamaster2025: 8:56pm On Oct 09, 2025 |
TheLoanGuy:Huumm, yes, it is Possible, but do you think the embassy don't know the theory? We spoil things for ourselves and future applicants. Ethiopia airline you need to transit, Wise thing to do why not get it done sincerely look for a direct flight. IF you are a first timer i will advise you not to do it but frequent traveler, you can |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by TheLoanGuy: 9:53pm On Oct 09, 2025 |
visamaster2025:I did it as a first timer, there's no spoiling things here. They just need to see your itinerary. They clearly state themselves that you should not pay for flights before you get your Visa. Or you also think they don't know about the direct flights either. Also, you only need a transit visa if the layover is going to be for more than 12 hours, which clearly isn't the case, their layover is usually under 12 hours to prevent this from happening. Stop sharing half baked information and misinformation here. |

TheLoanGuy:Half Baked information ppsshhhh Funny you. Let him / her go-ahead. i rest my head. Correction, nobody informs him / her to pay for flight before getting the visa. They just need to see your itinerary ?---- WRONG. you think the embassy will not confirm it, with the itinerary? Am not saying he needs a transit or layover or whatever. What i know is he should document his / her documents perfectly. because you did it last time then it will keep working forever.NOTE -- Embassy Policies changes. For me I believe is not right. |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by visamaster2025: 1:41am On Oct 10, 2025 |
TheLoanGuy:If you do it as a first timer means automatically you can do it forever? you are funny |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by TheLoanGuy: 8:28am On Oct 10, 2025 |
visamaster2025:You're the funny one here, talking like you're the consulate or the Visa officer reviewing applications. Point me to where they stated their policies have changed concerning booking flights, if not, you should take several seats back. |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by TheLoanGuy: 8:43am On Oct 10, 2025 |
visamaster2025:Notice that you said "For me", you're not the embassy, neither are you a Visa officer or an authority. When the Embassy Policy changes, we'll get the memo and it'll definitely not be from you. How would the flight booking change what's in the applicant's itinerary if they use Ethiopian Airlines? It doesn't change the arrival date. |
