In the event that we somehow make the playoff, what happens to the friendlies that the NFF have planned for the team next month?

We really have a lot of dunderheads running our football

Chelle should not play iwobi in the middle, remove Simon and play iwobi there …

We need someone they knows how to handle the midfield control properly, over the years this is one of biggest issue, any small team that has below average midfielders, and knows how to peg out wingers with physical football would always give us problems because we don’t control midfield, we always take the ball to Simon, or play long, at most we just pass aimlessly to the wings over and over, then loose the ball, while hoping on one or two brilliance from osimhen and co in the mix of the aimless and lethargic football.

Mujtahida:
My point goes beyond the specific failure of the u-20 or the SE and leads to the overarching point that using pattern recognition, it is easy to see that our best sportmen including players in the national teams are from the south.

And to invalidate your point, I can show you many times when SE was populated by southies and they succeeded while you on the other hand would not be able to show me as many times when our teams were dominated by northerners and we succeeded.
Let's not go this route

we only have 2 days of international matches in november. Any play off will be next year after afcon. Probably from march.

making an announcement like this before the final round of games will cause issues and accusations of match fixing since some teams know that avoiding a win against the lowest ranked team in their group will help them. Probably will be done after.
all the teams in the play off table have all played teams in the bottom of their various logs
Group A
(Bfaso 4-0 Djibouti) (Djibouti 0-6 B/faso) 6pts

Group B
(DRC 1-0 S/Sudan). (S/Sudan 1-4 Drc) 6pts

Group c
(Nigeria 1-1 Zimbabwe) (Zimbabwe 1-1 Nigeria) 2pts

Group D
(Cameroon 3-0 Eswatini)(Eswatini 0-0 Cameroon) 4pts

Group F
(Gabon 3-0 Sychelles) (Sychelles 0-4 Gabon) 6pts

Group G
(Uganda 2-0 Somalia) (Somalia 0-1 Uganda)6pts

Group H
(Namibia 3-0 Saotome) (Saotome 0-2 Namibia) 6pts

Group I
(Madagascar 3-0 Chad) (Chad 1-3 Madagascar)6pts

so nobody withh attempt to fix anything again…since they have all played against their group’s bottom sitters

My Maroc Boys! Do me proud. Korea must fall!

USA 3-0 Italy in the other Round of 16 game played earlier. Benjamin Cremaschi who played with Messi at Inter Miami (but now at Parma) scored 2. A midfielder and he is top scorer now with 5 goals.

Alvin Okoro, Idele and co could not save Italy. USA were just better.

It is a funny thing that it is only the North African teams that have confirmed their places at the WC so far.

-Morocco
-Egypt
-Tunisia
-Algeria

West Africa should join in soon after MD 10.

The ref should have given Korea a little bit more time after the PK. At least 1 more attack especially after the Moroccan keeper was trying to waste time. Dude blew his whistle right after kickoff which was unfair. Is it just me or is Morocco getting help from the refs in these tournaments? Korea could have easily gotten a PK in the 1st half as well. The upcoming AFCON is going to be a farce at this rate.

Hope for DRC not to beat Togo.

If DRC wins, Nigeria is toast.
I was not Happy today when Burkina Faso defeated Seirralone, their next Match is home to Ethiopia. We should just pray they don't win that mtch with big margin.

Also DR Congo needs to just drop points to Togo today. If not we are toast.

can you really trust this set of players to score 2 or more goals without conceding. I take 1-0 victory over a draw or worse case scenario a loss.

one of This two nations (Madagascar and Burkina Faso) will be a sacrificial lamb falling out for Nigerian to sneak into play off spot
1. Madagascar on 19points travels to Mali for last match
A loss for them 19-6 = 13pts
A draw for them 20-6= 14pts

2. Burkina Faso on 18pts welcomes Ethiopia on last match
A win for them 21-6 = 15pts
A draw for them 19 - 6 = 13pts

Uganda on 18pts travels to Algeria for last match
A loss for them 18- 6 = 12
A draw for them 19-6 = 13

Also DRC on 16 pts with 2matches to go are still a threat

we just need to gather that 17pts and hope Zim gets rooted to the bottom of the group…

we are sneaking into that play off spot
The only way for Zimbabwe not to finish last is if they beat SouthAfrica. If they do that, then we leap frog SouthAfrica on GD with a Win to Lesotho. Anything other than that they will finish last.

Exceptions prove the rule. Mikel is from the South. Grew up in the north. Simon is from the middle belt. Ahmed Musa I heard is from Auchi. The Babayaros are Igbos.

For every one player you mention from the north, 20 can be mentioned from the south and middle belt.

If we say - and it is the fact - that blacks in America dominate the NBA and athletics will you argue against it?

Why is this a difficult thing to accept. It's not even a shameful thing. The north has its own unique proficiencies. Athletics and sports is not one of it. Just go through the list of our sportsmen and you'd find that they are overwhelmingly from the south and middle belt.
No such zone as middlebelt.

Like I said I don't want to engage on this matter

Three players came yesterday, Akor, Yusuf and Zaidu. Now we are 21,” the Milian told reporters.

The problem I have with this super eagles is indiscipline

How can you have a MAJOR game Friday
And players are strolling in.

Even the last game against South Africa same thing

I hope this will not affect the team
