Akor Jerome Adams: From 2019 U20 to Super Eagles

Akor Adams is a Super Eagle today but how many of you know he was a member of the 2019 Flying Eagles class that crashed out of the U20 WC in the round of 16 vs Senegal? Most of u dont remember.

He was 19 yrs then and with Sogndal in the Norwegian Obos Ligaen. Not rated by most back then as he scored no goals at the WC. Few years later, he walks his way into Ligue 1 with Montpellier and shines. Gets a move to La Liga with Sevilla, had injuries, came back and just recently sealed a 4-1 win over Giants, Barca in La Liga.

Now the 2025 Class also has an 18 y/o Striker, also currently plying his trade in Norway, and in the Obos Ligaen, like Akor Adams was back in 2019. The path shall be walked again and even better. Good lightening about to strike twice. Remember you heard it here first.

Below is Akor Adams at Fifa U20 WC in Poland 2019.

Out of the blame for players, ekong alone should take half. If you add all the points he cost us, we'll be topping the table.

Personally I think those players deserve more blame than we apportion them..maybe even 50%

Yes coaches have a role to play but he won't enter the pitch and kick the da*mn ball

Look at some of our draws and defeat, mostly from individual errors and even when these boys play, they don't play like big players bar osimhen and maybe Aina even Lookman has below average if you ask me.

Come on! drawing to Lesotho and Zimbabwe is a big slap considering the caliber of players the super eagles have, these are games you should be winning by 2 goals atleast with or without a sound Coach

...so let's be honest these super eagles take the blame 50% or more

It’s delulu
Moving forward NFF needs a new ten year plan
Have or grow a solid youth or home based team that can replace the foreign based players anytime
See what Appiah is doing with Sudan
Look how they embarrassed Nigeria by winning with a huge margin 4 goals
War torn Sudan o
Else we may not qualify for 2030 World Cup
Teams could be increased to 64 in that edition
FIFA marking 100th year tournament edition
Without planning we will miss the next ten world because other countries are investing in youth programs whereas Nigeria is looking for European left overs.

Your statements are kinda embarrassing
Lord have mercy
Our innit boiz are England, France & Germany left overs
We are feeding off scraps you say
But Iwobi came to us when he was on fire
See Dele Ali that rejected us will never make England squad again
Udogie, Adeyemi etc ain’t even regular starters
If Nwaneri joins super eagles he’d definitely play for 10 years compared to use & discard England
Nigeria gives loyal players multiple chances for confidence sake .eg. Chukwueze

😂😂 So you refer to Osemen as a Monster Machine? More a Lawnmower 3000 — a powerful start, a ruckus, but finally stalling before the job is done.

This guy is out here discussing grass quality while he couldn't even eradicate Lesotho or Zimbabwe. A “Beast Mode” striker who transforms into Silent Mode when it is time to qualify for the World Cup—2 times!

And come on, the Turkish league? That isn't “Monster Machine” but a monstrous mid-table league merchant. Y'ALL tears will flow again today and I will be here to laugh to my satisfaction.
Ai 😂 really? You can't make an original thought

wow so FIFA has already made those deductions sef, im just seeing it now…teams on their main group have their points remaining the same but on the playoff table all necessary deductions has been made😀
so this means Burkina faso can finish on 15pts and Madagascar has to draw or lose to mali and Nigeria has to finish on 15points🙆🏼🙆🏼…omo

That Burkinafaso win yesterday was a big blow for us. Their next match is at home to Ethiopia.
The Dr Congo is Currently winning 1-0 against Togo if they win, we are in big trouble, there next match is at home to Sudan.

There is a Glimmer of hope for Gabon as they are losing now 3-2 to Gambia. Their next match is at home to Burundi.

Honestly to sneak in at this point, we need to score a lot of goals like 4 or 5 today and score Benin like 3 goals too.

So the key matches are:

Gabon vs Burundi
Burkinafaso vs Ethiopia
Dr Congo vs Sudan.

Even with this lifeline we are still in a dicey situation, something that looked very good few weeks ago, honestly results didn’t go our way this round.

Note to Super Eagles.

You need to statpad madly today vs Lesotho.

You have to wallop and spell Lesotho today.

GD battle is gonna be tight. Score as many goals as possible.

Burkina faso is on +4goals, Nigeria(assuming we are on second) we will be having +2 goals if we get into the play off table…we need to win lesotho with 2goals and tie on points and goals with Burkina faso

We can take this opportunity by walloping Lesotho to increase our goal tally and finish it up in Uyo against Benin Rep.
Lets also pray against yellow cards ooo. Some of our guys have one yellow card from previous matches.
