I hope we can extend an invitation to Arthur Okonkwo for next month's friendlies.... Okoye will be back from his ban too..
Nwabali need to understand that because he had a good showing at the AFCON doesn't mean that the number one shirt is automatically his .

Aside his recent school boy errors, he tends to behave childish on the pitch, pulling all sort of stunts....... This isn't street football!

As for Chelle, I wasn't excited one bit when he was appointed, and I'm still not excited..

I honestly can't see what improvement he has made to the team... He is still using the same tactics previous coaches used.... The 4-4-2, too much confidence in an inconsistent Simon, using Iwobi as a central midfielder.....

Not true, Lookman sabi play PK even Simon moses. And moreover no be Osihmen score PK agaisnt Alisson of Liverpool for UCL. If we fail to qualify Ekong and Nwabali are the biggest culprits
When chips are down, he's the one I feel has the best mentality and skill to take those pressure pks. I don't really rate Osimhen's penalties, they always look save-able, even the one vs liverpool.

Should Troost ekong be on the bench vs Benin. I think he should be benched. Nigeria will win Benin 2-0 or 3- 1. Remember this comment after the game

I thought 2 goals is enough
The maths you should follow is the FIFA qualification rule, if we win on Tuesday (doesn't matter by what scoreline, but safer to be more than 1 goal) we will qualify.

Start Chukwueze, Akor and Osimhen in that game and a 3 man midfield with Ekong on the bench and we win that game by 3-1.

I forsee Osimhen possibly injuring himself against Benin. That man will go for broke and sacrifice everything on Tuesday.

Is there anything like lesser goals conceded aside goal difference, goal forward, head to head and fair play? (Cards received)

Nah nwabali needs to be probed for match fixing
It's one thing not to catch the ball... It's another thing to catch it and drop it back on the floor
What happened to catching the ball and time wasting that he normally does

Hmmm

Our best route to qualify is the playoff. Burkina Faso is playing on Sunday. That's the game that we determine if we are going to qualify for the playoff.
I have already lost hope for qualifying by topping our group.

What about the second spot position, if we finish second it's there any hope that we will qualify among the best second team
I don't think that route is available to us. It would be the 8th wonder of the world if we indeed qualify.

Just watched highlights
What a lovely goal from Adams, Boniface can kiss thé Super Eagles goodbye grin no chance for him. Akor Adams took his chance
I thought there was a misunderstanding between Semi Ajayi & Nwabali
I heard them telling Ajayi to leave it but he didn’t listen
Could’ve cost us a second goal
Nwabali messed up first goal
Ajayi & Nwabali nearly cost us the second goal
We need to pray everything goes in our favour on the last day

Can anyone state what Osimhen was yelling at the end, boy really want to go the World Cup some of his teammates are jonzing grin
Last chance for a number of them to go to the World Cup and the dying minutes was really tense
Some of the players need to start holding themselves to a high standard like Osimhen does
No room for mediocrity or mistakes in the last game against Benin
Just looks like Nigeria will concede against Benin smh

Hmmm
Hes very error prone
Complacency
I think the praise he got since the AFCON semis got to his head
His mistake cost us the first goal against Côte d’Ivoire at Afcon final
He’s been making mistakes ever since
We really need competition in the team
Nwabali will cost us in the World Cup against teams with sharp ki.ller instinct
Nwabali’s grace period is over
Start looking for decent goalie, unfortunately Atubolu doesn’t intend playing for Nigeria
We should start looking for another goalie

Lookman & Osimhen penalties are she et
Ekong is decent
Have you seen Gyokeres penalties ?
World class shots & placement
Osimhen needs to work on penalties and 1 v 1’s

Cocony:
This table is the reason why we need a 4:0 MARGIN.
South Africa on paper might beat Rwanda thus condemning us to 2nd position if we defeat Benin Republic.
From the playoffs adjusted points viewpoint, Madagascar will not Beat Mali in Mali
Uganda will not beat Algeria in Algeria.
The Joker will be Burkina Faso vs Ethiopia which will definitely end in favour of Burkina Faso. The Burkinabe are currently on 12 points with +4 goals difference.
If we win 4:0 and end on an actual total of 17pts we will have an adjusted total of 15points +7goals to sneak into the playoff position.
Our only saving grace should be a Rwanda win and our win over Benin Republic.
.
Well said , winning with wider margins against Lesotho should have been our target . At least 3 goals to nothing . I doubt Nigeria will not concede goals against Benin

I just wonder what cr7 would be like in the dressing room
Probably worse lol

God will still punish Nwabali.
grin When he looks at the other goalkeepers, one is a bench warmer in Israel while the other is in Tanzania this is what you get.

Top teams always get 3 quality goalkeepers every call up but for us it's always different. Same way we had Taminu starting back to back games for us until he signed for a mediocre team in England.

I'm sure if we manage to qualify Ahmed Musa and a few carpenters will be recalled.

Players like Gattuso, CR7, Drogba, Oliseh etc would have broken the head of some players in the dressing room for how rubbish they are...we just lack that temperamental leader in this team aside from Osimhen.
