So if you're Rohr you'd tell your Benin Republic team to come out and play an open game away from home, and increase the risk of losing rather than play conservatively to obtain a draw, or hope to nick a goal when a draw may possibly see your team through depending on the outcome of the SA vs Rwanda game?

Make no mistake about it, Benin Republic is coming to pack the bus to frustrate us, and hope to steal a win. It's the safer option.

Expect haram ball on Tuesday.

You dont know anyrhing .They have +5 goal GD while we have +3. We need a 3-0 to overtake them. Anything less than that we're done. Unless we get lucky to get in the playoffs.
You forget say every goal we score na plus one for us and minus one for them. A goal is even enough. Let's get two to be on the safe side.

Who still believes that Nigeria can qualify for the FIFA World Cup?

It is written in the stars ...

Via Automatic Qualification or play-off.
I feel we will end up topping the table as SA will botch their last game. If however that doesn't happen, then and the worst we fear happens, then no shaking. We add another 4years to our lives and go for the next world cup in 2030

Rohr needs an outright win as a draw will take their fates out of their hands and they will also hope Rwanda does them a favour by winning or drawing. South Africa has a clear cut mission:Beat Rwanda and top the group, any other result they(South Africa) are out.

Not true. If we get a 2-0 lead we get to +5 while Benin finishes on +3, no calculations further as even H2H we will be superior with both teams on 17points. The problem now arises if South Africa defeats Rwanda. That confines Super Eagles effort to the playoffs depending on the outcome of Madagascar, Burkina Faso and Uganda matches which all luckily come before ours.
The play off contenders have better goal differences than us hence our best option will be a 4:0 and above margin thrashing of Benin Republic.[/b]
You're might👍 If we had avoided that LES goal we would just need one goal in the final match

Chelle is worse than Peseiro let's be honest.
Against which teams did Peseiro and Finidi get a total of 4 points out of 12?

Stop the let's get 2 goals mantra as that depends on the outcome of the following:
Burkina Faso vs Ethiopia
Mali v Madagascar
Algeria v Uganda.
It is only if these matches end in a draw that the let's get 2 goals mantra becomes an agenda and even at that Super Eagles defence will need not to concede for the let's get 2 goals mantra to be a good option.

I repeat let's get 4 goals mantra will be the best option.

May the Spirit that fell on Zimbabwe today to frustrate SA to a draw, fall on the Rwandan NT and their entire backline especially led by Ntwari.

Come tuesday, Ntwari shall become Prime Unbeatable Buffon and SA will again drop points.

Nigeria vs Benin. Facing a man who qualified us to our last WC outing and with a chance to qualify little Benin, the squirrels to the WC like Keshi did with Togo, would be ALL OUT WORLD WAR.

Rohr will play to frustrate us but we must be ready for everything and hit them hard. The last time Rohr came here with Benin, they got bashed 3-0.

Bankygee Gbadura!!!!
I will pray, I will pray, I will pray o, I will pray, if I don't pray, Ghana will make mess of me 😭

Don't even mention Chelle and JP in same sentence. With JP we were still in the early stages of the qualifeirs and don't forget he took us to AFCOn final. What did Chelle even achieve that got him the job in the first place. He's a bad coach oga

Not fair to Chelle, granted Chelle's football isn't pretty on the eyes, but he has managed a messy qualification process for the SE quite well so far, remember he inherited the mess Peseiro and Finidi created yet has put us in a better position to still qualify on Tuesday if the players go for it and just win without drama...our fate now lies in our hands, Chelle has done his best with all he had available.

This is not belief. This is best possible outcome.
Our surest pathway still depends on 4 other games not South Africa's game alone. The Burkina Faso vs Ethiopia, Mali vs Madagascar, and the Algeria vs Uganda games are other Variables that must go our way first as they play before us. Only then can we narrow the belief/assertion down to Rwanda winning or drawing and we getting a 2:0 win that will take us to the World Cup. The above outline is the right/correct order of belief/assertion.

Just went back to watch the rematch and I'm 100% sure Nwabali is fixing these games. I can almost bet my life on it.

That theory is also strengthened by the fact that he plays in South Africa. Who's to say he wasn't pleaded with to sabotage our campaign by any means?

I'm flipping serious. He must be investigated.

At this stage, I'll even prefer Harcourt in goal. At least he'll be keeping with good intentions.

JP beat Cameroon Angola, and reaching AFCON Final.. Moreover you can't conclude that he wouldn't right his wrongs as the qualifiers progress.

After our shambolic outing yesterday, if we even win Benin at all, the best I can see us getting is a 1-0 victory. And it'll probably come from another penalty. Thankfully only 1 goal is needed.

But Peseiro couldn't win these teams! Una no dey see?

Where the phucck was Nigeria before Chelle? 3 points in 4 games! NO GAMES WON! NO GAMES WON!

This is not the time to play beautiful football, how many days have they gotten to train before matches, 3 at most, sometimes 2... JUST WIN YOUR EFFING games first, qualify and then there'll be enough time to discuss tactics and shit.

Them carry two coaches messes give new coach and he's done well so far but fans still dey find wetin no loss. Yes Chelle has been making some funny decisions here and there, but he's the one, HE'S THE ONE still keeping those calculators on your hands till present. It's like y'all don't know this man hasn't lost a game with the Super Eagles after 8 games played. REST IN JESUS NAME! REST!
