QueenJazz:Wrong assertion. Your one goal is needed theory is not absolute as it depends first on Madagascar, Burkina Faso, and Uganda not picking 3 points in their respective games and fourthly depends on South Africa drawing or losing, and fifthly in case CAF makes a U TURN on Head-to-Head it depends on our not getting more yellow cards. We can thrash Benin Republic irrespective of the appalling abyssmal displays in the past. Getting a 4:0 win should be our goal should per adventure we concede late or need goal difference to get into the playoffs. |

QueenJazz:Nwabali has been piss poor for Chippa united this season. Apart from their Mamelodi Sundowns game where he was damn brilliant, he has been just there. Dem wan use shot kill am for PSL. I mentioned it earlier on here. |

BankyGee:Peseiro almost won us AFCOn, and the qualifiers at his time were still the early stages. Chelle is supposed to at least give us hope, with the caliber of players at his disposal. .. Shebi u guys were praising him to high heavens when he was yet to play one match. |

MetalJigsaw:on that table they rivals we have are 1. Burkina faso on +4GD with 12pts(home vs Ethiopia 2. Uganda +3GD with 12pts(away vs Algeria) 3. Madagascar +3GD 13pts(away vs Mali) Now Nigeria we scored 2-0 vs Rwanda(away) 1-0 vs Rwanda(Home) 2-1 vs Lesotho(away) Our away game against benin was a loss, our home and away games against SA was a draw, our home game against Lesotho was a draw, our home and away vs zim was a draw and wont be counted since tuey are at the bottom if thw group so calculating our playoff standing if we are on 2nd we will be tied with burkina faso Thats +4GD for us with 12pts currently |

BankyGee:The bolded is true sha. Although I must say e get some kind simple in-game decisions wey no need too much overthinking. Like starting Chukwueze who's more creative and unpredictable than Simon. But overall you have a point. That's why like I said before, no matter how horrible this campaign is, I still insist on Eric Chelle for 2025 AFCON. For me it's too early to start talking of sacking and re-hiring. |

Cocony:If we get 2 goals against Benin and South Africa draws or loses We will be Topping the group, therefore there will be no runners up calculations |

Cocony:The 3 play off contenders you mention here do not have any better GD than us Burkina has +4(12pts) play home to Ethiopia Uganda has +3(12pts) play away to Algeria Madagascar has +3(13pts)play away to Mali Nigeria has +4(12pts) play home to Benin |

QueenJazz:Thanks Queen. It's too early to start sacking and rehiring. It doesn't make any sense. Just sack a coach that is even churning out results under unfavorable circumstances he met on ground. Omo, Nigerian fans no dey learn sha. |

MetalJigsaw:Apples and oranges. You are comparing Jpes Afcon tournament with Chelle's qualifiers. Haba. This is not just an overly sentimental take, you are also being dishonest. |

Cocony:I was strictly talking of direct qualifications. Provided South Africa doesn't get full 3 points, we need only 1 goal against Benin to top the table (provided we don't concede). Even if we score 7, as long as South Africa wins, we're not going anywhere. Yes, I'm already aware that qualifying through the playoffs relies on a lot more, and this is why I've said it before that qualifying directly is easier. That being said, where I agree with you is the number of goals we need. The reality is that if South Africa bottle it again, we really just need a single goal against Benin. But knowing how abysmal we are at keeping clean sheets, then I'll agree that yes. We need at least 3 goals to be able to breathe and relax. |

MetalJigsaw:why didn’t he do it on his first 2games… Chelle first 2games (4pts) Jpes first 2games (2pts) the difference is clear |
